There was once someone that told Khan that ''If you ever love something keep it close to the heart and never let it slip, because you never know when that very thing can disappear faraway from you.'' Those words stuck with him since that faithful day and he would give Iska flowers whenever he could. For him it was just a part of his daily routine when they meet each other after long durations of being apart from each other, for the reasons that they are both from different countries.

They have been together for two years enjoying each other like a happy meal of food and drinks, never ever being able to be apart when they have the chance. But as the day came and the news spread out fast the only thing Khan could hear on repeat on the tv, on the internet and lastly from his messages, are words of sadness. ''On the 16th of april the goverment enforced the law to stay at home and inside over the hazardeous disease that has plagued across of all Elta and all her people. We are forced by law in the coalition of the west to close all borders until the plague dies down.'' Khan at this very moment was in solitude without out his partner that lived in another country. All he could do was just sitting in the balcony floor looking at the phone to reply to every message Iska sent to him. Afterall deep inside he knew it would be the hardest for her to overcome the temporary distance for now.

Just like texts the days passed by one by one giving no hope to this lonely home. Everyday anxiety would grow and as that grew bigger and bigger he could hardly walk outside or even look at the slightest hole into the world outside.

What was so bad about this plague?

Is it really that horrible?

Could I just drive over the border without being caught?

Thoughts of worry towards his beloved one only grew but as every message was exchanged through their apps. They could only hear their voice on the outside but inside themselves hear their cries in their minds. The month dragged them down into a pit of loneliness unable to feel each others fingertips intertwined. But aslong as they got each other over the phone they could surely get over this unending theatre play of a global tragedy but a silent comedy.

But as Khan looks on his phone he can only smile for himself that if she doesn't get sick that is fine by him in all matters, and if she ever would catch this so called ''sickness of plague'' he'll run all they way over there or even switch his career to find a cure if it ever comes to that point. The world outside isn't his world, but Iska. That is the only home and world he knows and the only world that makes him smile.
