3. Fame

"Well guys, did you hear the band No Name is introducing a new singer in their new album?" Her friend, Historia said, chuckling loudly,  "Oh to be that girl!"

"Well Historia, we have only fifteen days left till we write our final exams in this college. You should be worried about your career rather than simping over that midget." One of her friends, Mikasa said in her usual monotonous tone, while they were exiting the college entrance door.

"Mikasa, please you dont say. You also simp over that singer, Eren Jaegar." Historia replied making Mikasa blush.

"So what are your future plans, (Y/N)?" A friend, Sasha asked.

"Well.. I haven't planned anything. Even I don't know what is happening with my life right now." She said, looking back at the events which had occurred in the past three months. She was chosen by the lead singer of one of the greatest bands as a singer, she had shot an entire album with the band and became good friends with everyone there, except one.

"Sir, I dont know whether I will be able to do it. I am kinda camera shy." She said shyly to the lead singer.

"Just give it a try brat. It is easy." He said patting on her back.

Though they hardly talked with each other, she realised how much he had supported him through these singer and without him, the dream of her becoming a singer would be just a dream.

She took a quick glance at her watch and realised she would miss her train to the band's office.

"Sorry, but I gotta go now." She tugged her bag a little higher in her shoulders and ran off, while the other three girls waved at her, "Bye. See you tomorrow."

She reached their office and was greeted by Hanji.

"Hey, Right on time you are today." She said engulfing her into a hug.

"Yeah Hanji. By the way where is sir?" She asked.

"He is inside talking with the Director. Anyways, you want some chocolate milkshake?" Hanji offered.

"Of course." She replied

Levi sat in the Director, Erwin Smith's office with his right leg placed above the left.

"Do you even understand what you have done?" Erwin questioned, "You signed this new girl, with zero experience for an album without even taking an audition just because you liked her singing at some random bar."

"Yes, I understand what I am doing." He said, keeping his hand at the back of the chair.

"Levi, I am spending my money on this. I cant just let a random girl be the reason for my loss. You have already released the date of the release of the first song."

"She won't be a reason for your loss. I can assure you that."  Levi replied in his usual non-chalant tone.

"Listen, we still have ten days. Release that old solo song which you hated and for the rest of the album, take your time and make the songs." Erwin said keeping his hands on the table.

"Well...No."

"Levi, I was the one who shortened your prison sentence from 6 months to 4 months and then I still paid for you. I think you should atleast consider my opinion."

"Tch. That was 4 years ago when I had just debuted. You still bring that up?!" He replied, "Well I wont change anything now and if the album is a flop, I will pay you back the money alright?"

"Fine. Do whatever you want but do what you regret less cuz if this album fails, you have to pay me the amount." He said , while Levi slammed the door on his face and left.

He came out and saw Hanji showing (Y/N) something on her phone while both of them giggled, sipping their milkshakes.

"Some girl interested you Levi after so many years, huh?"

He turned around and saw Miche hovering about his shoulders.

"What the fuck! Where did you come from?"

"Nevermind.. What did the director say?" Miche asked standing straight.

"Tch.. He is an asshole. He is bringing those incidents four years back and saying to reject that girl after she finished recording the songs."

"So what did you say?"

"Ofcourse I rejected his decision." He said with his usual frown. "Anyways where is the booze?"

"Oh its right there." Miche said pointing to a corner in the room.

In the blink of an eye, the date of the release of the first song came. After coming back from the No Name office, she resigned herself in the bed.

Immediately her phone started ringing, she sat up on her bed and peeked at her phone. It was Historia.

"Yes Hisu?"

"What the actual hell!" She screamed from the other side of the call.

"What?"

"You.. I mean YOU worked with the band, No Name?! Is it a dream?"

"You saw?!" She said jumping with excitement.

"Ofcourse! Damn girl, you looked so good! Now you will be so famous."

And the next thing she knew, her best friend's words became true.

Day by day, each song of the album released and she and her brother saw a life they never thought they would see. She was basically everywhere, from hoardings to interviews. Almost every advertisement signed their band as their brand ambassadors.

Armin became a transfer student to his dream college, the college he couldn't afford due to lack of money.

They bought a big house, a car and everything she thought only privileged people could afford, all because of him.

One day while the members were discussing about the new album, she excused Levi and told him,

"Thank you sir. I really owe you much." She said staring at the ground.

"Why are you thanking me brat? It was your talent." He said, patting her head. She felt heat rise to her cheeks on his actions.

"Anyways, call me Levi."
