P.S. - I Love You

Part One .

Being successful takes a lot . It takes hard work , dedication , and commitment . It takes sacrifices , and sometimes the sacrifices are hard to make . Witney and Mark both made sacrifices in order to succeed , but in different ways .

Witney knew that she was born to be a star . She knew she had that ' it ' factor and that she will do anything to be in the spotlight . She quickly realized that dancing was her gift , and she began working her craft . She sacrificed everything to dance : her family life , her schooling , and her other projects and activities . She had to deny many offers that came her way . She knew that if she did , she could perfect her art , and her hard work has paid off . She gets to do what she loves everyday alongside who she loves : Mark .

Mark , on the other hand , was different . He didn't know he was going to be in the performing industry growing up . He didn't know that he would someday be a star and a role model . He never thought of it , until an agent spores him dancing an singing on the street . He then became the talk of the town . Ever since then , Mark has taken every opportunity he has gotten . Modeling , singing , dancing , acting , and everything in between . But will he regret it ?

Mark has gotten the biggest news yet : going on tour . He was so ecstatic . He couldn't believe it . But if he does go on tour , he will have to make a huge sacrifice : leaving Dancing With The Stars for a season along with Witney . Will he do it ? Should he do it ?

' Knock , knock , knock ." On Witney 's hotel floor . Mark heard sobs coming from the other side of the door and decided to go in , knowing that Witney wouldn't answer it .

Witney was crying but began wiping away her tears as soon as she saw him ," Mark , we need to talk ."

" Yeah , we do ," Mark confessed , closing the door and walking towards Witney . " My manager told me . I know I should've told you sooner , but I was planning on not going . It's too much of a sacrifice . "

" I'm not sad because you didn't tell me ," Witney replied . She looked at Mark for the first time . " I'm sad because I know that you need to take this opportunity . You need to do this . It's a once in a lifetime experience . You have to ."

Mark was shocked . He couldn't believe that Witney said what she just did . He always knew that she would tell him to go . He just didn't think it would've so soon .

" Wit , I can't even express how happy I am ..." Mark started . He was quickly interrupted by Witney .

" The thing is ," Witney said ," I can't be with you . It's too crazy . It isn't fair to me or to you . You need to have to best experience , and you won't if you're with me . "

Mark stepped back and took a minute to contemplate .

" What ? " Mark finally replied ," No . No , I can do this . We can do this . We can do this ."

Mark began to tear up . Even though he said it , he didn't mean it . He knew that they couldn't be together while he was on tour . It would be unfair . He just didn't want to even think of the thought of not being with Witney .

Witney had tears streaming down her face as she walked back towards Mark . " You know it . We just can't . We have to . "

" I know I leave tomorrow , but let's just cherish the time we have now , together . "

Mark pulled Witney to him , closing the gap between them . His lips touched Witney's . She pulled back , wanting to get a last good look of him , and then hugged him , not wanting to let go.

" And make sure you have a good time ," Witney said while walking with Mark ," Now what flight is it ? "

" It's flight 24A . " Mark said , " It's over there ."

He pointed to the hallway , and started to grab his bags ," I guess I need to go ."

" Okay , and even though we aren't together , I expect a gift when you come back , " Witney said . She started to tear up as well as Mark .

" Noted ," Mark said ," I guess this is goodbye ."

Mark hugged Witney and headed off . As Mark was about to board the plane , he heard a familiar voice .

" Mark ," Witney cried , running to him .

He turned around and their lips collided .

Mark pulled away ," I love you ."

" I love you too ..."

And this is just the beginning . And I expect this story to be long like my last .

And I'm sorry I haven't been writing as much . I was having a major writer's block .

Also , I wouldn't expect a lot of Markney , but like a Markney friendship . Markney will come at the end and it will tie everything up .
