Mark ate in silence for the most part, only laughing when Jisung or Chenle said something dumb. He knew Taeil was staring, hence why he avoided the gang members. But it was hard when Lucas kept nudging him on his shoulder.
"Talk to Renjun yeah? I need to talk to Yangyang," Lucas kept repeating until Mark finally got up and sat next to Renjun.
"How long have you two been dating?" Mark asked.
"Oh not long, it'll be a month when we get back home," Renjun responded while he turned his marshmallow to the other side.
"How did you two meet?" Mark was just trying to distract him, but he really was curious.
"Through Jaemin actually, I saw them talking one day in the yard and I thought it was Jeno so I went to say hi. Jaemin had stormed off after I showed up and Lucas asked if I wanted to go to the park. I said sure and that's that."
"Were they having an argument? I didn't know those two were close like that."
"It seemed like it, but I couldn't hear what they were saying. They were whispering even thought there wasn't anyone there."
"Hm and here I thought they were introduced to each other in Haechan's sleepover."
"What do you mean?"
"Nothing, but by the sounds of things I'm pretty sure they've known each other for a while."
"Do you want me to ask?"
"No it's okay, I got it. Here he comes," Mark stood up from the log and dragged Lucas back from behind the van.
"Why's your hair all messed up? Oh my god nevermind, I have a more important question. Jaemin is in the gang isn't he?"
"What are you talking about." Lucas wasn't really listening, he was too busy trying to fix his hair.
"Answer my question or I'll tell Renjun what you just did."
"Mark you know it's not my place to say, it's confidential."
"Well with that it just confirmed my suspicions, don't forget to button up your shirt."
Before Mark could sit back with Renjun Taeil pulled him away the same way he did to Lucas.
"Do you work for Yuta?"
"What?" Mark genuinely asked.
"Don't play with me boy, do you work for Yuta?"
"I'm sorry uncle I don't really know what you mean by that."
Taeil was growing impatient, "Where do you know Yuta from?"
"I can't say I really know him, I came with Lucas, Johnny, and the others. I heard Johnny's friend Xiaojun invited him right?"
"How do you know those two then?"
"The skatepark. I'm sorry uncle can I ask, is there something wrong with Yuta?"
"Stay away from Yuta, he's a bad man."
"Then why're you with him uncle?"
"You're dad asked me to."
Mark's heart dropped.
"I see, anything I can do to help?"
"Absolutely not this is too dangerous," Taeil said before walking off. Mark marched right towards Johnny where he was working the grill.
"Johnny I can't explain right now, I need an excuse to talk to the boss." Mark whispered in a panic.
"Yuta can you take Mark to the bathroom, he's too scared to go alone," Johnny called out.
"I can take him," Taeil volunteered.
"Nah Yuta knows this place like the back of his hand, you two might get lost," Johnny said as he flipped the burger. Taeil nodded hesitantly as he watched the two disappear into the trees.
"Boss my uncle is onto us."
"Who?"
"Taeil my uncle! He just told me that he's working with my dad."
"Oh, yeah I know."
"What?! Then why do you let him get near us?"
"To prove that there's nothing going on. C'mon kid I thought I taught you better."
"Stop calling me kid, I'm not a kid."
Yuta smirked and pushed Mark against a tree, "What are you then?"
"Yuta are you drunk?" Yuta's smile dropped, he grabbed Mark's jaw roughly his his hands.
"That's boss for you Mark." Mark let out a small whimper as he grabbed on to Yuta's arm for support.
"It seems like you're enjoying this Mark, do you like it rough?"Yuta teased, lowering his hand to his throat. The twigs on the ground snapped from Mark stepping back and Yuta getting closer.
"Boss wait," Mark breathed out.
"You sound so slutty, do you want to mess around a bit?" Yuta placed his other hand behind Mark's waist. Mark stayed quiet.
"Say something Mark, or do you want me to stop?"
"No! I want to," Mark answered quietly.
"Hmm? How about later tonight, I don't want to eat you up on the dirty floor."
