It was bright. Very bright. Even when Lilah opened her eyes, she couldn't see anything but the harmful rays of the sun. Lilah, however, didn't need sight to find out where she was for it was extremely hot and windy. She felt dirt fall off of her small frame as she stood up from a hard surface. Fifty-eight.

It was then that she began to regain her eyesight and see her surroundings and she confirmed her assumption, having been there once with the school. It looked a little different then her last visit, but there were the same tall buildings and busy roads as everyone was taking a lunch break. Lilah herself was on the flat roof of a ten story building where she was level with the buildings around her.

She looked around for door and was not surprised when she didn't find one. Why lock me on a roof? She thought with great confusion, if I wanted to, I could jump off. Of course she wouldn't. Not without finding Damon and getting him to safety. She was about sit back down and wait when she saw a bright glare from the sun coming from the roof in front of her. Curious, she went to the edge of the roof and decided it was small enough to jump.

Once on the other roof she went to the middle and saw what was reflecting the sun, a knife. In fact, there were many of them, and guns too, but she was never any good with them. The knives came with a badly written note.

Kill or it will be painful

She was confused for a second before she heard a gun sound and all she had time to do was fall to ground to avoid the bullet. Lilah rolled over and got up to see six guys on the three roofs in front her, two on each. She threw the first two knifes at the two guys to her right and they went down instantly. The other four continued shooting while coming foward and Lilah only had time to dodge all four enemies. She counted every bullet and lunged when they needed to reload, threwing a knife in both of the men in front of her.

The other two took that time to hop on her roof and surround her, both shot at her and she missed one bullet, but was too slow for the other one. She tried to ignore the pain and run but she tripped over herself and fell to the ground. She was grabbed by hands and the other began laughing.

"Did you accually think you could kill all of us?" She said, and continued laughing.

"Guess you're a liitle blind on your left side, huh?" This one was male but with same mocking tone. "Don't worry, about seventy-five percent of the population is." He tried to take away both of her knives, but quickly she changed hands and broke free. Using the small amount of time she had, she stabbed the woman and turned to the man.

"Now, you see, there's where you're wrong." Lilah smiled and began twirling the knife in her hand. "I'm much better with my left side." She raised her hand to kill the final enemy when she heard a faint buzzing sound.

She looked up at the sky and threw her knife at the sun. Instantly, everything when dark and Lilah's wound was gone, as if it had never been. Lights turned on and she found she was in a room with one small barred window one the left side of the room and a door on the far side with a guard next to it.

"I have to admit, that was brilliant, better than anybody I've ever put under there." Came a voice from behind her. She quickly turned around to see a young man, no older than twenty, with short black hair and eyes simlar to those of people in Four.

"Where's Damon?" Lilah demanded, she didn't care about compliments for she had heard them all before. For a second the stranger frowned, looking confused.

"Do you mean Yǒngqì? He's here." He replied. Lilah was surprised to hear the stranger speak the name with such precision of Four's language. She was confused as to why he called Damon a different name, especially one from another country. She decided to ignore it for now and be relieved they didn't kill him.
