The Light

I was sitting in my chair waiting for the service to end,I was so tired and falling asleep.The teacher soon said "Ok everyone! Everybody please stand so we can all pray." I stood up and everybody closed their eyes and prayed,I looked up and looked in the room connected to the one we were all standing in sperated by a large curtain.I saw a small light in there from the exit sign glowing it was small bright light in the darkness of the room of people praying.I brushed it off and went back to praying and then after everybody finished they turned back on the lights,but there wasn't an exit sign were I saw the light there wasn't anything,So what did I see?

Sorry this was so short but this is based off something that happened to me yesterday! Basically my parents make me go to a church every Sunday or Saturday and that day I was standing there looking around the room and I looked in the other room described in the story and I saw a small light that was pretty high up and from the dark I could make out like a tall figure but I brushed it off thinking my eyes were playing tricks on me and it was just an exit sign light that was there and then they turned on the lights and there wasn't anything there no exit sign not a light so yeah please send help I'm still very spooked ༼;´༎ຶ ۝ ༎ຶ༽
