the bell rang, indicating that it was the start of morning break.

everybody was already spilling out the class like wild fire, all except for riki, jungwon, jake, and sunoo.

jungwon was about to leave when he remembered he had to show riki around the school.

as for sunoo and jake, they were too busy bickering with who would go out the door first. and in the end, jungwon pushed both boys out the classroom and sighed.

he turned his attention to riki and smiled. "sorry about them, it's pretty normal here though so i suggest you get used to it" he said while cleaning up the chalk board.

riki stood there, awkwardly watching the other clean the board.

"you haven't talked a lot since you came here, are you shy?" jungwon asked, but then he looked up and shook his head. "oh pardon me, of course if you move to a new school you wouldn't talk much" he laughed slightly and set the eraser down.

riki slowly nodded his head. "i heard a bit of an accent when you were introducing yourself" jungwon looked over at riki. the boy nodded.

"like i said, i'm japanese" riki replied. jungwon nodded. "are both your par- pardon me." the brunette was about to ask riki a question when they were interrupted by a loud thud and shout.

he slid the door open and saw jake and sunoo on the ground. "you guys are still here? i thought i told you guys to go outside and clean the school." jungwon lectured them with a strict tone.

riki looked over jungwon's shoulder and made eye contact with that sunoo guy, again.

sunoo smiled and waved at riki, but then screamed as jake plopped his body on top of his.

the silver haired boy scrunched his face up and covered his ears.

a blond haired boy came dashing through the hallway, then stopped when he saw sunoo and jake on the ground. "you guys ditched me for this dude??" he yelled and flailed his arms around.

"so you guys ditched jay and trash duty?" jungwon crossed his arms and looked down at the boys on the ground.

"everything i need is on the ground?" sunoo replied back, earning a slap on the back from jake. "HEY. that hurt" sunoo whined and pushed jake off.

"way to go fanboy." jake rolled his eyes and dusted himself off. "hey, rosé's new single is literally a masterpiece." sunoo scowled at jake.

jay firmly placed his hands on both sunoo and jake's shoulders. he was about to drag them away when he heard some kids coming in to get some equipment.

"damn it" jay muttered under his breath and pulled the 2 boys back into the classroom.

"nyahahaha we got away from jay's lecture" sunoo laughed and high fived jake.

jake high fived back. "i hate his lectures so muchhh. they're so long and hard to get out of" he said and took a seat on his desk.

after hearing sunoo laugh, riki was back to questioning everything. 'is he a cat?' 'possibly a furry?' 'why did he laugh like that' 'is he secretly a human cat?'

all these ridiculous thoughts flooding into riki's head.

jungwon noticed riki spacing out and gave him a light tap on the shoulder.

the tapped boy turned around. "huh"

jungwon gave him a slight smile. "sorry, it looked like you were spacing out and i wanted to bring you back to earth"
