What did i do wrong????

I watched as lizzy ran up the stairs to what I guessed was her room and slam her door shut . I looked at my new parents with a confused look and they told me that Lizzie doesn't do we'll with change and if I give her time I would learn to love her. All a sudden Mrs.Hulcum stood up and asked me if I wanted to see my room I nodded and followed them upstairs to a door with my name on it. As they open the door I automatically fell in love with my room on one side it was decorated all Dr.Who style and the other side was decorated as Marvel. My bed was made to look like the tardis and I had what looked like every Marvel coming book known to man on the bookshelves. Yes i am a geek and i love it. After getting over the shock of my room I turned around and hugged both of my new parents saying thank you over and over again in there ears. They hugged me back tightly and said your welcome and let me go to unpack my stuff.
As I was unpacking my stuff I took my jacket off to stretch my wings out cause it hurts to keep them hidden all the time. As I was about to go check out my balcony I heard Mr. And Mrs. Hulcum call us down for dinner. So I threw a jacket on and ran down stairs.
