Ai's POV
"we should get to bed"
" yea, your right." I replied yawning. we got into our shared bed and fell asleep around the same time, falling into a deep sleep.
we walked around the main road at night until Y/N saw a green beetle and insisted we burry it
"Common Ai! we need a to burry him" she persuaded, we picked up the tiny green bug and walked over to a land mass in a crossroad and berried the bug. Both me and Y/N prayed over the makeshift burial, I looked up to see the beetle out of the burial and flying around, casting off a green light, lighting up the area.
"Ohto Ai, Y/N L/N" said the bug in an almost whisper, flying in front of us. Me and Y/N looked up calmly. the talking bug continued his sentence
"What are you two doing in a place like this?" said a mans voice coming from the beetle.
"walking" we answered in unison. still staring at the beetle.
"this late at night?" the bug interrogated, moving its head to the side. that's when I realized it was a dream.
"oh... A dream?" I asked, looking down slightly
"you don't like dreams?" the bug continued while moving around as I stared at the hole that was supposed to be the beetles burial.
"would you prefer reality?" questioned the bug flying back up to us
Y/N's POV After the bug started to fly away, Ai started chasing after it, I decided to follow. After a few moments, the bug spoke up.
"first time's free, after that bring your wallet" I looked at him in confusion, it seems that Ai knew what was happening.
"How much" I blurted out. while still running after the talking bug
"Don't worry. I know you'll like it" he replied, we ran into a circus or a far like area, he then finally described what a I thought was what we were running towards.
"its a special capsule machine after all" he vaguely described where we're running to.
"Special how?" I asked with curiosity tinting my voice, he didn't answer until we made it to a court yard area with a tiny park in the middle.
"it has the very thing you want in it." he finally answered, Ai stated she didn't really want anything, I nodded my head in agreement. we started walking, once again following the beetle. we walked to a hole in the side of a small hill, i looked in slight surprise to see there was a escalator in the hole, leading down. Me and Ai walk down the escalator, the beetle following. after a few steps, we heard two males instead of one laughing, coming from the same bug as before. i look back to see the escalator lights shutting off, one by one.
"don't lie. Of course you do" said a different voice then before. after the male said those words, the escalator stopped and a trapped door opened, causing us to fall into a new room.
"A friend."
