I just want to start by putting a second warning right here about the contents of this story. It is not a mushy, happy story. It is gritty, ugly, and gory. There is some pretty intense scenes right off the bat, chapter one.
Midsommar, if you haven't seen it, is about a toxic relationship that is crumbling. Please know that I have not written Eren to be a nice, doting boyfriend to armin. If you are looking for fluffy Eremin content, this is not the story for you. You will not find it here.
I did want to address as well, though, that Jean and Connie will not be as mean as Josh and Mark were. They still care for Armin and regularly call Eren out on his bullshit. Zeke will not be romantically interested in Armin, that bit of Pelle and Dani does not apply here, and the scene between Christian and Maja will not be as explicit and shown in detail as it is in the film. I also promise to give Mikasa a bit more character than Maja had, because she deserves it. But the ultimate story of Maja is the same. Nothing against Mikasa, it just works for story purposes.
So yes. Eremin is here. Eremika is here. Jearmin if you squint, unless I decide to push further into that territory. Armin and Annie but its pretty one sided and mostly all platonic. Some scenes will be original to this story. Most will mirror Midsommar with slight changes. Soooo Yeah! I hope you enjoy! Thank you!
