Stressed Beyond Stress

Tony had met Nick once more in private. Talked about the guy that was gonna help them out.
Nick agreed with Tony on his plan to go up himself and he send the guy up by the next day to do a check in. So Tony was gonna send this guy his coordinates once he got there to insure it's only to him. Of course the coordinates would be different each time. And away from the cabin to be sure they are safe.
Then by noon tomorrow. He was gonna have a list of things they'll need for the next two week to a month which he would send with the coordinates.
And they would do this every two weeks to a month.

You were ready to be discharged.
The surgery wasn't a huge thing. It was the kind that could have been done as an outpatient. There were two small incisions on your lower stomach that would heal in a couple of days.

"So what are we doing?" Pepper asked softly as you were resting.
Tony kind of rubbed the back of his neck.
"Remember where we went when we had to hide out for a bit?" He asked making her think a moment. "When you told the entire word where we lived?" She spoke making him nod. "Yeah." He spoke kind of smiling. She nodded slightly.
"Are we gonna be okay?" She asked as he put his phone away and got up.
He nodded. "Don't worry about nothing." He spoke as he kind of squatted in front of her as she nodded. "Kind of hard to do." She spoke in a slight duh voice.
"Right now. We just need to focus on that little ball of hot messes." He spoke pointing over to you making her sigh while nodding.
"What did city council say?" She asked making him shake his head standing up.
"Nothing. Nick is taking this into his hands now." He spoke making her nod slightly. "He's gonna pass his rights down to us this time." He spoke making her nod. "He's working on changing her name." He spoke. "To what?" she asked making him sit back down. "It'll be Y/n M/n Stark." He spoke making her smile.
"Good." She spoke feeling pretty content with it.

You started to whimper in your sleep making them both look over at you. "What is she doing?" He asked as she got up and walked over.
"Must be a nightmare." Pepper spoke softly as you turned your head letting out a cry in frustration. That made Tony get up and walked over.
"Does she get these a lot?" He asked crossing his arms as she gently pegged your head while nodding. "She did just about every night." She spoke.
"No.." you mumbled.
"Which now considering what she's been through with those assholes. I'm sure they're worse now than they were before." Pepper spoke as you whimpered again in your sleep.

In your dream

You looked over seeing them standing there.
It was suddenly dark as you started running.
But it was like you couldn't move.

"Listen here!"
You covered your ears as you let out a cry.
You could feel the stomps of someone stomping your way making you snap your head towards the direction.
"Little brat."  It called out.
"No.." you cried out.
Just as you turned around.
Something grabbed you by the throat causing you to gasp —

Out of dream

You jerked up gasping slightly. Coughing a little as you started to cry out in complete fear.
Pepper pulled you to her making you panic a little looking up at her.
You realized it was her and gripped onto her slightly.
Tony came around the bed as you cried out.
"Hey. Hey. What's wrong?" He asked concerned as he squatted by Pepper so he could see your face.
You reached up grabbing at your ear in frustration scratching at the bandage off behind your ear pretty quickly.
Pepper quickly grabbed your hands away and pushed the bandage back down.
Tony took that as a chance to gently take your hands as she squatted beside him. "Try to use your words." She spoke as you turned your head taking your hands back. "Uh." You grunted in full frustration.
You pulled at your ear grabbing the bandage once more.
Pepper grabbed your hands. "You can't do tha-"
She started but you cut her off with a loud scream throwing yourself back on the bed in frustration.
Tony looked over at Pepper as she just let go. Kind of letting you have this moment.
"She's never done that before." She mumbled as they both stood up as you rubbed your face calming down a little.
"No." You stated in frustration as you looked away from them.
