"come on amajiki, train with me!" nejire shouted, flying in the air as tamaki left his forehead on the wall.

"it'll be too embarrassing ... i'd.. rather not.."

1-a was benched, keeping a close eye on the big three as they trained. it was more of an examination to see how they can better their own moves by watching the best three students in all of u.a. a green, fluffy haired boy with freckles watched them closely, writing down in his notebook and muttering to himself. on the other end of the bench, a blonde, spiky haired boy had to be restrained as he was more than hyped to train with them.

"amajiikiiii!!! just pretend 1-a are potatoes, it'll be fine!" nejire exclaimed, flying behind tamaki and grabbing the collar of his shirt.

potoatoes... that's right.. pretend theyre all vegetables, tamaki.

realizing he was being was lifted by his collar, tamaki immediately turned his torso around, his fingers turning into tentacles. the tentacles, manifested from squid he ate earlier that day, grabbed onto nejire's hand. prying her pinky finger and thumb off his clothes, the slipperiness wiped her grip off of his clothing. as he fell to the floor thinking she would give more of a fight, he landed improperly on his foot, his ankle straining as he fixed his posture and tried to keep his stance. another one of her teases, it seems.

i want to specificy that no. nejire is not antagonistic or an asshole here shes simply just being one of those friends who are just super playful and sometimes doesn't realize it can hurt people. sorry for any confusion aaa

"ah-" he started, wincing a bit. but it was a lot more painful that he thought. after slowly yet frantically stumbling to a bench, he propped his foot up onto his free leg. swollen... he thought, this doesn't look good..

mirio went up to him, nejire landing and standing from a far to talk with 1-a and distract them. tamaki could hear her vaguely, "you know, that's why we always practice our landing techniques, guys!"

"tamaki, are you alright?" mirio started, leaning his hands in to help. tamaki looked away, letting mirio check on his ankle.

"y- yeah... it's nothing.." the paler boy replied. mirio was gentle with his ankle, examining it.

"someone better take him to the infirmary, have recovery girl check it." mr. aizawa added. the other teachers behind him nodded.

"in that case," mirio started, lifting tamaki up bridal style, "i'll be the one to take tamaki to recovery girl! lets gooooo!" the blonde shouted, running out the door with tamaki in arms.

tamaki couldn't help but blush at how embarrassing mirio was, keeping his head down as he was lifted away. mirio was always the type to try too hard, whether it'd be jokes or in combat, he would always go the extra mile. the indigo haired boy only hoped mirio hadn't gone this far for a mere injury.

-------

as mirio passed by the girl's bathroom with a crimson red tamaki in his arms, giggling was heard.

"hey, good afternoon ladies!" he greeted, the girls waving as they continued giggling.

here come's the tomato of the school, tamaki amajiki! he burned up even more, hating all the attention he got. this is why tamaki didn't want the blonde to go over the limit, shaking and cowering in fear from all the attention.

".. mirio.." tamaki started, lightly pounding on the blonde's muscular chest. "speed up.. p- please.. come on.."

and although tamaki couldn't see from his slightly blurry vision full of light tears, mirio's body felt a bit warmer as he held tamaki a bit tighter. the girls nearby giggled louder, whispering to each other at the somewhat lewd sounding comment* he didn't mean it like that, but mirio grinned and straightened his posture, puffing his chest out in confidence. it was almost as if he was going to travel at the speed of light right then and there.

"sure thing, tamaki!" the blonde exclaimed, a small indigo boy shivering in his arms.

mirio nodded the girls goodbye.

".. how embarrassing.. i wanna go home.."
