   Note: Please forgive me for being on such a long hiatus, and I'm even more sorry that this first story back isn't a request. But please understand this is the first time I've had a crumb of motivation to write. This will *hopefully* get me back into the swing of things, so I thank you for your patience

   Albedo, being as he is, was not familiar or too knowledgeable over the human emotions of romantic affection people had for one another. But one thing he knew for sure, is that he missed him. The one that was able to aid him in his search to understand this concept.

   Starting off as just a simple and innocent request to help him understand and learn more through an experiment. [Y/n], being the ever polite and understanding person he tried to be sometime, agreeing to try help him.

   Although he was somewhat inexperienced as well in the romance department, he at least understood the reasoning and feelings of it all. He never imagined however this would be something Albedo would ask of him - when Sucrose first brought the boy here Albedo was polite but had a very calm, almost apathetic demeanour, mostly engrossed with his experiments and his wonder for alchemy.

   But when he'd come down to Mondstat, being around you brought his observant eyes to more wonders outside of alchemy. It was strange at first - he never payed attention to things that didn't really interest him. But he wanted to pay attention to you more at least, for being as helpful as you were to him.

   That's how this all started really... You two went down to Mondstat one day to resupply on what you needed back at his Dragonspine base, when you two passed by a shop.

   "Ohh, it seems like you two got a little more comfortable with your feelings towards each other." The owner teased.

   Both men stopped in their tracks after hearing the little musing by the shopkeeper, embarrassing one of them while stunning the other. The embarrassed one was [Y/n], of course. Caught a little off guard by something like that being said about the two of them, cause it wasn't even true-? What gave them that idea...?

   Albedo, on the other hand, was quick to think about what exactly they meant and why they did. Comfortable... With the feelings you two harbored for each other? He did not think he could he could even hide how he felt about things, being rather apathetic or otherwise blunt with his thoughts.

   He glanced over to you for a moment, before realizing something new. I know, right? Albedo not paying attention to something, even if it was a little detail? It was rare, but this small detail was... The two of you were closer to one another than the other times as you walked through the town.

   'Oh.' He thought to himself. When did this start exactly...? Perhaps just today since this was the first time someone called it out, or has it been like this for a bit longer without his realization and today was just a day where someone felt like saying something...?
