By age twenty-four, she had her Masters in psychology. One year later, after a stint in the real world, Adeline felt like something was missing in her life. She was left with the inevitable 'now what?' that all twenty-something year olds seemed to face.

Mere weeks after coming to this early life crisis , Adeline attended a seminar by a certain Dr. Reid. She became enthralled with everything he was saying, entertained by his quirks and encompassed by his words.

She then knew what was next.

Without so much as a shadow -of- a-doubt, Adeline applied to the FBI academy. And by age twenty-five she had graduated top of her class.

Months after her graduation, Adeline was recruited to join the BAU and from there her entire life finally seemed to make sense.

Everything she did from the time she was a child made sense...she had been profiling since she was eight years old.

While her new job was overwhelming, terrifying, higher stakes than she was used to, it was everything she could have ever dreamed of.

An additive to the job was a team member who was all too familiar to her. Spencer Reid, the same man who had unknowingly convinced her to apply to the FBI.

The two become quick friends. Adeline enthralled with Spencer's mind, while he became addicted to her attentiveness, empathy and grit.

By age twenty-seven, Spencer Reid is Adeline Harper's best friend, just as she is his.

The two depend on each other both in and out of the field as they navigate life as BAU members, but also life as two twenty-something year olds with feelings that they sometimes struggle to control.
