Mornings always sucked. Even if I slept early I would always wake up like if I were a corpse.

I stare at my ceiling, my eyes focusing on making patterns from the concrete lines above my bed.

I get startled by my phone alarm, groaning at the horrible sound it made. 6:30 am, I had to get to school in an hour.

I slowly get up, rubbing my face violently to wake up, although I know that never works.

Before heading to the shower I check my phone, I have some discord messages from George asking me if I was doing anything today.

3 discord messages from: George

G: Hey Quackity! Have any plans today after school? It's Friday and Dream wanted to invite some friends to the movies!

G: You can't say no, you owe me a hangout

G: If you don't come you need to do my homework for a week

I quickly text him back, no way I was doing this bitches homework—

Q: Yeah, ok, whatever— what movie are we watching? No scary shit — and please don't leave me with your friends while you make out with Dream, you and I both know that will be the end result.

G: Haha, very funny— cmon, it'll only be 2 other friends, you'll like them!

Q: Okayyyy— whatever you say— but you are buying the food, I don't have any money

G: yeah ok, that's fine

I turn my phone off and grab a towel, heading to my bathroom. A shower would wake me up a little more.

I really wasn't in the mood for a movie— I still hadn't been the best... not since Schlatt and I broke up. I knew that George was inviting me to feel better about the breakup, sometimes it worked, but I still felt the pain every once in a while... I really wished meeting new people would distract me.

After I get out of the shower I start picking my clothes, a nice button up black shirt with some black jeans, a pair of sneakers, and of course, my trusty beanie. I looked at myself in the mirror before leaving my apartment, it was nice outside, not to hot and not to cold. It was still May and the weather would soon start to turn hotter as the summer approached.

I yawn as I walk towards school. I looked at my phone. 7 am. I only had 30 minutes before my first class started... but I was still too tired.
