Aethers Pov:
I play with Xiao's messy hair as he's asleep, We were cuddling and he ended up falling asleep, oh how perfect he is, he's like a riceball thats formed in a circle just right.
I was happy that he was sleeping peacefully, he doesn't sleep a lot, he uses powder to cover his bags, when night falls he's usually at the lake. Today was my lucky day because Paimon did not bother me at all and Xiao was sleeping on me!

Xiaos Pov:
I woke up to find my head on Aethers lap, I was startled by the fact I was"laying"on Aether. I immediately jumped up and moved to the other side of the bed, I could sense Aether was sad, I felt bad, I never meant for him to be sad.
But this always happened.
Everytime I try to fix something, it ends up with me hurting the person more or them just walking out of my life. So I didn't even try to fix it, it was a cowardly move but I couldn't let my love walk out of my life, he meant everything to me.
Infact,
I can't imagine me without him, yes I prefer to be alone, but it's somebody I love, he's the person who lights up my day, no, my whole world.
I decided to do the right thing, I wouldn't really call it fixing, but it's something I believe would help make my love feel better.
So,
I gave him a hug.
I could sense his sadness walking out the door, and came in happiness. But he immediately jumped on me, I was startled, again, but I didn't jump up or anything, I only flinched.
He kept giving me kisses on the cheek, I felt like love was attacking me.
He stopped giving me kisses on the cheek, which made me a little sad, but it was bedtime for him, not for me.(savage)

I made sure he was asleep so I could walk out the front door to get some fresh air, I didn't want to startle my <3 or else he would wake up and tell me "You need your beauty sleep!"
I walked out the door and made my way towards the lake, I found it peaceful at the lake, the only downfall of it was sometimes hillichurls tried to come at me. I put my feet in the lake, oh how relaxing it was, it's like all your fears are walking away.
As I was relaxing, I saw the sun come up, I decided to go back to the small cottage-like place. Aether was going to wake up by at least 6:00 (AM Military time) so I gathered my fears back and went back to the cottage-like place.
