Present day.

"George baby have you seen my dark grey hoody?" Clay called from the closet

George grinned got up from the couch. He made his way over to the bedroom where he was met with his boyfriend packing.

"Nope haven't seen it," George responded with the biggest smile ever.

Clay turned around to look at him and was met with the short boy smiling from ear to ear.

Wearing his dark grey hoody.

Clay started grinning just as wide.

"Baby I need that," Clay chuckled.

"Hmm I think I need it more I'm pretty cold right now," George stated.

Clay smiled and turned back to zip up his suit case.

"Alright you can have it," he smiled at the shorter boy

Clay approached his lover and wrapped his arms around him. George buried his face into his chest and hummed in approval.

"You can stay, you know. You don't have to leave me,"

Clay laughed at this, "it's only two nights,"

George frowned, "Can't your mom see you some other time."

Clay loosened his grip and looked down at the other. He gave him a kiss to the forehead and then kissed him on the lips.

"She could, but we have had this planned for weeks now. You know who far she lives and she is always busy with work. I'm lucky she's even free for the weekend,"

George huffed dramatically and Clay giggle day his little show.

"Come on hun it's almost noon I have to go,"

Now George was really upset. He couldn't stand not seeing Clay for two hours let alone two whole days.

Clay grabbed his boyfriends hand and lead him towards the door.

Once he reached the door he put in his shoes and coat and turned to face his teary eyes boyfriend.

"Oh come on Georgie it's only two days," he said reassuringly.

"Two days your leaving me," George responded and a tear rolled down his cheek

"Hun come here," he pulled George into a hug and lifted him in the air.

George wrapped his legs around Clay's waist. They stood like that for two minutes in a comfortable silence before Clay finally broke it setting George down.

"Two days," he said simply.

"I'll come back soon I promise,"

"I intend to hold you to that promise," George responded giggling.

"Ok deal," Clay said finally letting go of the smaller and opening the door.

Little did George know just how important that promise would be.
