Gren's days at the school was never really as interesting as the first day. He usually wakes up before sunrise, goes for a jog or practices his magic at a secret area where no one can find or hear him.
Every day he grew closer to both Zac and Lina. They grew close since they have not met anyone who treated them as normal people and not one of royalty. It was natural for them to show him their side they have not shown to anyone else.
Gren always get stares from everyone in the school since Lina was always seen with him. Gabriel didn't bother Lina anymore but Gren knew he was planning something.
One day after practical lessons ended, Lina popped a question towards Gren.
"Are you doing anything tomorrow?" Lina asked.
"I don't think so. Why'd you ask?" Gren tosses back another question.
"I was thinking if you wanted to... come with me to the kingdom's shopping district and... hang out?" she said while looking away.
"Sure why not," Gren replied.
"Really?" Lina looked perplexed.
"Yea. I always wanted to see the kingdom's districts and maybe buy a thing or two," Gren added.
"Than it's a date... *gasp*," as she covers her mouth.
"What did you say?" Gren asked.
"I-I-It was nothing," Lina act all nervous. "I-I-I'm gonna go head to my dorm first... B-B-Bye," she went off leaving Gren in the dust.
Gren heard what Lina said. As much he wants to make it happen, he wants Lina to feel ready if she ever wants to pursue it.
At the Dorm
Gren opened the door to his dorm. Someone was in the bathroom which he assumed was Zac. Gren got to his bed and prepared to take a shower.
Zac got out of the bathroom.
"Same old day?" Zac asked.
"You could say that," Gren replied.
"What happened?" Zac questioned.
"I'll talk about it after I take a shower."
Gren took a shower, got into his nightclothes and sat down on his bed.
"So what happened?" Zac started off.
"Well... Lina asked me to hang out tomorrow at the kingdom's shopping district," Gren gave the info.
"Hmm... I didn't expect her to make such a bold move."
"Neither did I but if she wants to, I'll let her,"
"Well, please do take care of her. The royal guards won't be there protecting her so you're the only one I can trust to do so."
"You can count on me, I'll take care of her."
"Now go to sleep you have a big day tomorrow," Zac ended the conversation.
"Yea you're right," Gren said as he heads to sleep.
The next day
Gren did his usual routine of waking up before sunrise and went for a run. Came back to his dorm and change into a long-sleeve black shirt and long pants for an unexpected day ahead.
Gren head to the academy's gate and waited for Lina.
Lina was running towards Gren and what he saw made him speechless. Lina was wearing a yellow dress with yellow shoes. Alone these combination doesn't strike out much but due to Lina's blonde hair and yellow eyes, it made her beautiful.
