Author's Note (Trigger Warnings, Rules, Posting Schedule)

Hello my Lovelies,

I am the author of this book, as you might've guessed from the title. But who else would even be typing on here lol. Unless my best friend somehow got the chance to steal my phone.😶 That would be a tragedy. (No, not really, she's literally my proofreader, all my gratitude goes to her. ‹3)

Anyway, I have a few things to discuss and make clear.

1. Explanation of the Storyline and the upcoming Books

As you can see, this is the first book in The Game Series, which means there are going to be other books, in fact, there should be at least 3 more books on the way.

The storyline follows Nikolaus, his growth and adventures between many, many years he will live through.

First book, called "The Game of Life", shows us Nikolaus' childhood and meets us with his family, friends and acquaintances. It also discusses the kidnapping that occurs on his birthday.

To make it clear, the kidnapping is a plot point, but it doesn't encompass the whole of the book. It is actually quite a minor segment to it, considering the amount of chapters that will be spent on providing/adding more information about his life.

Now, to explain the plots of the other books.

Note: I will only fleetingly speak of the acts in the upcoming books, as I don't want to reveal too much information. You will understand everything as time goes on. ;)

The second book in the series, "The Game of P****", will focus on Nikolaus' meeting his soulmate in a different world/dimension.

The third book, "The Game of T****", talks about Nikolaus coming back to Earth and discovering his true self.

The fourth book, "The Game of C****", composes of him fighting for the Throne.

And last but not least, the fifth book, "The Game of L****", is Nikolaus traveling back to the other world, after he's finally finished his duty.

The first (the current one) and the last book will probably be the shortest.

I will not yet uncover the full names of the other books, since the names are still very inconstant, as I keep changing them.

2. The Date(s) of Chapter Releases and their Length

I will try my best to keep the dates of the new releases regular. For now I've thought of updating every 30th of the month. And every two months I will also update on the 15th.

My priority is to keep the word count above or at 1000 words per chapter, but that might not always work, depending on how much free time I get to work on the book(s).

3. Trigger Warnings

I must say, these books will contain a lot of touchy subjects and weird themes, so please take a look at the list below. If anything makes you uncomfortable, I advise you to not read the book(s).
