It's sunny,
I'm happy,
Too happy to be real
Or am I?
Am I quite simply
Distracted?
Is it me or a haze?
And then came the
The first drop of rain,
And another
And another,
Until I'm drenched to the bone
In this storm.
I had been looking so sad
In all the nice and yellow places.
And that's when it finally
Struck me,
I had only been
Waiting all along
For the rain.
