Pt 2

Katie's pov:
Finally, weekend. I can sleep a bit longer than during the week.
It's 9 am and I'm still laying in my bed. 
Maybe I should get up.  I thought to myself.
So, I got up and went to bathroom.
As I was washing my teeth, I suddenly started staring in my reflection in the mirror.

I always thought that I look childish, since whoever sees me on the street doesn't believe me that I'm in high school. And I've been looking at other girls around me who already have a boyfriend and actually looking their age. Tbh I wanted that, what they have. But, since I've seen a lot of  them getting hurt by those boys I started thinking: Wow, boys really can mess up your life like this? That was the moment when I just stopped  wanting a boyfriend. Instead, I started praying to God every night to send me a boy who will be different from  those boys. So, I'll have one when God wants me to have it.

I suddenly got out of my thoughts and finished brushing my teeth.
After that, I went back to my room to change.

As I was changing I saw that Dora has sent me a message. She was asking me if I want to go out this afternoon.
Ofc I said yes, we didn't hang out since last week, except in school. 

We decided that she'll come at my house at 17 and then we'll go to new pizza place that opened last week.

For the whole day I was just waiting for that 17 pm to come. I was hungry tbh. And yeah I have food to eat at home but, I was craving pizza haha

*17 pm*
I was getting ready in my room when I heard the door bell.  Mom, could you please open the door? I think it's Dora!
Few min later Dora came to my room.
She started teasing me cause I was putting makeup on after a while.
Yahh Katie we're just going to pizza place not a fancy restaurant haha. You're planning to hit on some boys or what?
I turned around to her and said: Well, you never know who we can meet on our way there haha. As I see you put mascara too so pls

I thought you're not going to notice, is is that obvious? she said and laughed.

You look pretty so don't worry. Now let's go before we're late  I said as I was putting my cosmetics in its place.

They work until midnight.. Dora said half annoyed.

I'm joking! I laughed. But we're gonna stay here till midnight if we keep arguing about random stuff.

Yeah, yeah sure let's just go then Dora said.

We left my room and went to the entry door to leave the house.

Bye mom! See you later! We won't stay long so don't worry. I shouted to my mom.

Okay Katie, have fun you two and take care! My mom said.

We will, bye!

With that, we left the house and started walking to pizza place.

When we arrived, there was only one boy there. Alone. He seemed to be waiting for someone. He had dark brown hair and was wearing a blue t-shirt and white denim jacket. His visuals were pretty much out of this world I must say tho. I mean you don't see a boy like this often.

We sat on the table across his and started looking at the menu.

Few moments later I saw that  waitress brought him pizza. Jumbo one actually. I mean, it none of my business but, I thought to myself
Is he really going to eat that pizza all by himself ? Pheww 

I turned my head to Dora to ask her  if she picked what type of pizza will we order but instead, I found her spaced out and looking at that boy.

I chuckled.  Ayoo Earth is calling Dora!  
She suddenly turned to me. W-what Katie?
Why were you spacing out while looking at that boy haha? I asked
Oh nothing, I just.. think he looks handsome that's all.
