The Day

Kara's point of view:

- Birthday -

"Morning" My dad says making his famous pancakes as I walk down the stairs.

"Morning" I say sitting at the counter.

"How'd you sleep? Nightmare with mom?" He asks.

"Um, no actually" I say quietly.

"Oh! That's great" He says hugging me.

He laughs a little going back to his pancakes.

"It was actually you" I say sadly and quietly.

"Trust me, nothing is gonna happen to me" He says.

Why, day? Why don't you believe me? It was just like mom. Please.

We sit down and eat our pancakes, speacial edition. One regular, one strawberry, one blueberry, one chocolate, one banana, one apple, one pineapple with all their speacial syrups. But the most imporant one of the day, Birthday cake pancake with cotton candy syrup.

- Later that day -

As I get to the apartment I see the door is open.

I walk in carefully and scaredily.

I bump into someone as I am looking around carefully and slowly.

"AAAHH-" We both start screaming and then he puts a hand over both our mouths.

He pulls me outside and down the stairs.

"Why are you here?" I ask.

"I came to tell you news when I found the door open. You were in school obviously and Iris was at work" Cisco says.

"It's probably my dad" I say laughing a little.

"About that... Barry's... dead" Cisco says slowly.

"What?" I ask trying to hold in the tears.

I knew it! Why was it so hard to believe me? Both parents, dead right on my birthday.

"are you okay? Your face is really red" Cisco says.

"Yeah, I'm fine" I say.

I didn't even get to spend time with him. It's just like mom, all over again. They die and I don't even get to really know them. I was only 5 years old when mom died and she was always so busy. And now dad, he was also really busy always but when he wasn't Iris was always there.

"Do you have any idea who is in there then?" I ask looking behind me at the stairs.

"No! But we better run!" Cisco yells as it comes nearer to the stairs.

Cisco pushes me into a van, a STAR labs van with a lot of eletronics.

"What is this?" I ask looking around.

"Your dad had a secret" Caitlin said.

"Well, it's actually all of us" Allegra said.

"Yeah, anyways. Your dad was the Flash" Cisco said as the fan started moving.

I laugh a little.

"Your mom was Supergirl" My aunt, Alex, says putting a hand on my shoulder from behind me.

"Oliver was the Green Arrow" Felicity says beside me.

I hug her.

"I'm Vibe" Cisco says.

"Frost, but you knew that" Frost says.

"It is my first time meeting you" I say softly still hugging Felicity.

"Elongated man" Ralph says stretching his arms to get me water.

"Thanks" I say taking the water bottle stillin Felicity's hug.

"Secret agent of the DEO, where your mom also worked" Alex says, my aunt.

"Martian, J'onn J'onzz. Directer of the secret agency organization, DEO" Hank says turning into his regular green self.

"Oh" I whisper.

"Computer guy at the DEO" Says Winn.

"I'm also here" Says Mon El waving his hand in the back.

"Hey" I say quietly.

He's like, my best friend. Were like, siblings.

"Your mom's cousin, Superman. Clark Kent, or Kal El" Says a man, Clark, mom's cousin, superman.

"Nice" I say.

"Computer Gal, was, for the Arrow team" Felicity says as I look up at her.

"Partner, you could say" John says.

"Mia, his other partner, I guess" Mia says, Oliver's daughter, my friend.

"Hi" I say laughing a bit.

Tears start sliping through my cheeks.

"Aww, don't cry" Felicity says hugging me tighter.

I laugh a little.

- Time Skip -

"So where do I live now?" I ask.

"Welll... you will have to find an adoptive family" Cisco says sadly.

"Can't I stay with you?" I ask Clark.

"Sorry, but i'm busy" Clark says.

"Can't she live alone?" Ralph asks.

"No, I'm only 15" I say.

"She has to stay with one of us until we find someone to take care of her" Caitlin says.

"She can stay with me for now" Cisco says.

"Now we get on with the search" Winn says sitting in front of a computer.

"Remember, It can't be near here" Says Alex.

"And not too far either" Caitlin reminds them.

"Take a nap" Says Mon El showing me where I can nap.
