Jimin tightened his hold around Yoongi's hand when he was about to enter his parent's house.
"It's gonna be fine." Yoongi said, looking towards Jimin.
Jimin wasn't holding any expression, he looked as if he trying to gather himself up. It sucked how even after so many years, he couldn't become used to this.
"I know." He said, stepping into the house.
The day was hard. For Jimin and his mom and his brother. Everyone went to his father's grave and instead of giving him flowers, they gave him something that was like an inner sentiment. Something personal, just between the two of them.
Jimin gave him a mixtape. His dad used to make them and give it to him a lot and encouraged him to dance to it. He always thought it was old fashioned until his father died and it became the most precious thing to hold. Now he gave it to him to show that he cared, he appreciated his father's efforts.
Then when they reached home, they remembered his good memories. They would laugh endearingly, even Yoongi. It was peaceful, kind of glum too.
Jimin's family was also a little suspicious about what was going on between Jimin and Yoongi. They just stayed closer than usual. The family wouldn't have expected Yoongi here because Jimin tended to attend his family alone most of the time.
So when Jimin and Yoongi shared a look, Jimin got up from his seat, determined to do the right thing and asked his mother for a minute alone. He explained to her what was going on. It was a shock at first for her about Jimin's sexuality, but in the end she trusted Yoongi. So it was all fine. Patted Jimin's head and said, "just stay happy."
Yoongi was awkward in front of his mom after that, but then everything settled back when she gave him a warm smile. They were used to calling each other's mothers mom.
When the dinner was over and their talk about work, and everything was over, they decided to call it a day and go to sleep. Jimin's little brother did insist on watching movies but then Mrs. Park scolded him and told him to go to sleep and that his Hyung's have had a tiring day because they were on a flight.
She gave them privacy, it was heart warming.
They ended up sitting by the pool, their legs dipped in the water and thankfully both of them were wearing shorts. It was peaceful, the water being able to numb the hot season along with the chilly night winds, it also drained away their exhaust.
After maybe ten minutes of silence, Yoongi looked to his side to face the younger and spoke.
"You did well today, Jiminie. You were very strong."
Jimin didn't look back at him, just stared down in the water before his head slowly tilted sideways and eventually rested on Yoongi's shoulder.
"Thanks for being there, Hyung."
Yoongi just wrapped his hand around Jimin's waist and pulled him closer, resting his head on Jimin's.
"You know I was a real brat to my dad." Jimin started. "I always used to bicker with him, even though he always supported me. The day he died... It was one of my dance events. I fought with him because we were running late and I didn't wanna ruin my program. He kept assuring me that he was going to drive as fast as he could and I won't be late. I wasn't. I performed but then... In the middle of me dancing–"
Jimin inhaled sharply, closing his eyes as a tear dropped down his cheek, he shifted a little more closer to Yoongi.
"I was dancing...then people started looking somewhere else, I realised what was happening and then everything is a haze. Like a nightmare."
He chuckled sadly.
"Now I regret it. I blame myself. If I wouldn't have fought with him, he wouldn't have got anxious and–"
"Oh baby, it wasn't your fault."
"Don't give me that crap." More tears rolled down his eyes as he wiped them, never stopping. "It was my fault. I could have said a thousand good things to my father, yet I chose to tell him how much he had failed me."
"We all fight with our parents when we're kids, Jimin. You weren't any different."
"Then why is my dad gone and not anyone else's?"
"It..." Yoongi sighed, trailing his hand up Jimin's back to stroke his hair. "It is how it is."
"It sucks!"
"I know." That's all Yoongi could say.
"It's like there is this hole in my heart– and nothing has been able to fill it."
"I know, Jiminie. But your father wouldn't want for you to be sad like this and living on a regret, he loved you. He wants you to be happy."
Jimin inhaled sharply and exhaled a shaky breath. This was anything more than people have given him. People have usually called him selfish, rebellious and toxic growing up. So he had put all the effort in their group's relationship. He had been selfless, for his bandmates and his fans.
"I love you, Hyung. I've always, always loved you. In one way or the another."
Yoongi pecked the top of younger's head.
"I love you too, Jiminie."
Jimin closed his eyes to stop the last of his tears before swiftly wiping them.
"Hyung, can we kiss?"
Jimin lifted up his head from the elder's shoulder to meet his eyes, pleading silently.
Yoongi answered him by connecting their lips, holding his jaw to guide him. Their lips moved slowly, but still as if they were deeply addicted to each other. Jimin moaned lowly within his throat, relishing this feeling. It was so comforting.
After a few moments, Jimin knew Yoongi wouldn't initiate anything else so Jimin decided to make the first move, flicking his tongue on Yoongi's bottom lip and silently asking for the permission. Yoongi's lips stuttered a bit but he opened his mouth, letting Jimin's tongue explore his cavern as he held the side of Jimin's neck, another hand snaking around his waist as the pace grew faster.
Jimin's hands that were resting on Yoongi's chest started wandering quite everywhere, exploring the elder's body like he hadn't done before. At least not in his right mind.
Six years ago if someone would have told him he'd be feeling like this for Min Yoongi, he would have laughed so hard and said that that the person had lost their mind. He would have also kicked Yoongi's ass to prove his point.
Now, well... He didn't know if things could even get more heated than this. Yoongi's hands were on his waist and his skin was blazing, his lips left his to trail kisses down his neck, Jimin panted heavily, throwing his head back in bliss.
The rapper pulled away from his neck with a deep grunt, a string of saliva connecting to his lips and Jimin's skin, urging him to dive in again. He leaned in, scouring his teeth into Jimin's neck before wrapping his lips around it, determined to leave a mark.
He pulled away to look at Jimin completely lost, eyes dazed and heavy, driven with lust, lips parted and wet. The moonlight shone and melted on his skin, making him look utterly magnificent.
He lost it when Jimin agonizingly slowly stripped off his shirt and jumped into the pool, coming back up with his wet hair sticking back and beads of water trailing down his abdomen.
"Can I have you tonight, Hyung?"
