Echo 3-1 or Ronin is a captain of his team and a CIA SAD/SOG operator. Left himself behind to hold back hostiles for his team to evac

"Echo 3-1 this is 3-7, do you copy?" a voice coming from his radio

"I say again do you copy?" with worried tone

He reaches for his radio slowly and carefully due to his severe injuries and respond

"Hey 3-7, yes i read you. You boys made it?" he asked with concern

"Affirmative Sir, we made it to evac" when Echo 3-7 said that. Ronin is relieved that his remaining team 3-4 to 7 are safe

"I'm glad you boys made it. If not, your mother would be pissed at me." said jokingly to ease two of them

"Yeah right." 3-7 chuckled at Ronin's attempt on humor but become serious and ask

"You're not gotta make it, do you?" said with a gunuine sad tone

"Hey, don't worry about me. You're still young, you got a chance live another day. Plus you might have family in the future." Ronin said

Then he hears a banging on the door

"Sound like they're here" said as Ronin is hold the detonator ready to blow himself up along with those guys once all of them are in

"Tell the boys that it is been an honor to working with you all."

"Copy that, Sir, it's been an honor to serving with you"

They ended the transmission just as the mercenaries manage to burst into the room unknowingly the room is rigged with explosives

"We got you now, you goddamn american." Merc leader proudly says as he thinks he got cornered

"You killed many of my men, and for that I'm gotta kill you slowly and surely." sadistically said and laugh as him and 6 other men enter the room.

The leader prepares to torture Ronin in his already bad state. As he gets closer to him, Ronolin says

"By the way, is it me that there is seven of you or do I just only see four."

The leader pause and laughs at him until he pull out the detonator

"What the-" The leader is surprised as his men in the room as they realized the room has been rigged full of C4s

"If you get to hell first. Tell your general I said hi." with a smirk and then he detonates the explosives

The leader screamed to no avail as he and his men caught in the explosion

Ronin has brought them down with him as his last laugh

He knows that or at least what he believes that there is no such thing as heaven or hell, just nothingness. However what he didn't expect though is that he's going to reincarnated into another world.
