I jumped out the window, landing on the balls of my feet so I was silent. I ran into the woods, shapeshifting into a wolf. That was my favorite form to hunt in.

As soon as I smelled elk I went to follow its trail. As I was tracking it, I went through a beautiful almost perfectly circular meadow that smelled of vampires. I felled the deer soon, drinking it as my normal firm. But I soon heard someone, so I went home fast as possible and jumped in my window. I started to unpack.

"Hey, Bells. Want to come eat?" Charlie yelled up the stairs.

"Not right now dad! I am still unpacking," I yelled back. I did have to unpack all my weapons that I had shipped here using UPS.

"OK! When you are done come down to eat, OK?"

"Oke dokie!!" I yelled, as I swiftly unpacked and put away all my weapons away. I have every kind of sword you can think of, and more. Same with the guns and basically all weapons. Its a good thing that I got the size manipulation power from a vamp Dad had wanted me to come meet. I made a room in my floor a few years ago so that I could put all my weapons there if necessary. No one knows about it except me and my actual dad, Aro. He is the king of the vampire world. Well, kinda. Its hard to explain. He is one of the three main heads of the vampire world.

Anyway, I walk downstairs and smile somewhat at Charlie. He had his shoes on, and was grabbing his jacket. "We are going to go eat at the Carver Cafe, that ok with you Bells?"

He was referring to the cafe he had always taken me to when I was younger. "Of course dad." I reply. They had one of the only foods I actually liked to eat- berry cobbler.

Several LOGGERS at the counter offer me welcoming smiles. I shrink in my seat at the attention. I never have liked attention. Charlie's oblivious to my plights, annoyingly enough.

The waitress, Cora smiles at me as she places a plate of ultra rare steak in front of me and a medium done in front of Charlie. "Can't get over how grown up you are. And so gorgeous." She says. I glance at Charlie, who keeps his eyes on his steak.

A bearded, hippy logger, Waylon, appears behind Cora, leaning over her shoulder to me. "'Member me, honey? I was Santa one year." Of course I remembered him.... He had given out little wine bottles full of grape juice instead of wine.

"Waylon, she hasn't had a Christmas here since she was four." Charlie says simply. "Bet I made an impression, though." Waylon says. I just roll my eyes.

"You always do." Charlie says, rolling his eyes.

Cora comes to the rescue, "Let the girl eat her steak, Waylon." She says to him, pushing him away. "When you're done, I'll bring your favorite - berry cobbler. Remember? Your dad still has it. Every Thursday." She continues with a smile.

"That'd be great, thank you." I say. I really liked her. Cora shoos Waylon away. Left alone now, Charlie and I both reach for the salt, and we knock hands. Charlie goes for the ketchup instead. It was silent as we ate.

When we got home, I went to my room to 'sleep'. Tomorrow was the first day of school.
