Worlds Away From Home

Chapter Five (PT.1)

"That was a stupid idea (Name)!!" (Name) shouted at herself as she sprinted down the dirt pathway, eyes wide and almost streaming tears, "How do I always end up being considered food?!"

The distinct loud roar behind her made (Name) pick up the pace once again, jumping over fallen logs and dodging the occasional branch. She lost track of Lucy, who volunteered to go with her, and broke Erza's promise of keeping out of trouble. (Name) mustered up as much strengh as she could and screamed as loud as possible, "Luuucccy!!!!"

(The Day Before)

(Name) slowly peaked inside the guild, looking around from the doorway like a mad woman; she wasnt suppose to be at the guild, or at least what Erza told her when she made a surprise visit a few days ago. It was silent, which was good [and also a little concerning], when (Name) stepped inside the room.

"And what do you think you're doing, Chibi-chan?" An oh-so familiar voice asked from behind her, causing (Name) to tense up and fight back a loud scream of shock; did everyone forget she is easily frightened? a familiar laugh made her frown uhappily, she should have known it was going to be him, "Geehee~ Aren't you the scaredy cat~"

"Why the hell would you scare me, you dingbat?!" (Name) shouted as she spun around to face Gajeel with a scowl and a frown. He laughed again and patted her head, "Gosh, your terrible..."

"Can't help it, your fun to scare." Was all he said before walking off somewhere else, (Name) gave a low growl at him with a pout on her face; as much as she see's him as that annoying older brother, her anger fades with time. However, the trend of scaring poor (Name) seems to be the unintended habbit today.

She let out a small squeak when arms scooped her up into a bridal style, making her let out a low yelp of surprise and entice an oh-so familiar [yet oddl cute] purring sound, "We meet again, my sweet little Chibi-hime~"

"L-Loke?!" was all (Name) could manage out, seeing how he has been making a few surprise visits ever so often. (Name) made a few mental connections as to wherever Loke is, then Lucy might be around near by. (Name) sighed, though now her cheeks are begining to turn red, and squirmed a bit, "C-Can you please put me down? I can walk you know..."

"A princess should never walk alone~" Loke purred again until Lucy whacked him upside the head. Loke [reluctantly] put (Name) down and disappeared when Lucy closed his gate, leaving the poor girl with rosy cheeks. She was oblivious to the next lurking threat behind her, jumping almost a few feet into the air when a hand snuck its way around her waist..

"I don't see why you're so skittish today, Chibi..." Gray, who was shirtless once again and, of all times, hugging (Name) from behind. (Name) hid her face with her hands as her cheeks went red, still obviously not used to Gray's stripping habbits in the slightest. Lucy swears that Natsu and Gray are trying to get into (Name)'s pants for one reason or another.

Poor (Name) on the other hand couldn't handle the jump-scares anymore, cheeks rosy as hell from being scared so much as well as the fact that Gray has his hands wrapped around her waist. Gray smirked and gently pulled on (Name)'s cheek, seeing her squirm a bit, "Oh don't be like that, Chibi-"

"Scare me one more time and I will do something to you..." (Name) growled lowly with still rosy cheeks, happily saved by Erza as she tugged on his ear to release the girl from his grasp. (Name) huffed unhappily and just let a glare settle in on them, a little surprised when Mirajane waved her over. Its not like she was going to ignore the girl, so she went on over, "What's up Mira?"

"A mission came in asking for you, actually." Mirajane said as she pulled out a piece of paper; it looked like to be a request to slay something thats been terrorizing a town, "Now I wouldn't mind letting you go alone... but..."

"I know, its my first mission so I'll take someone with me." (Name) said with a nod, squeaking a bit when Natsu suddenly hugged her from behind; she could tell it was him from how warm he is and that sexy-

"Don't think that (Name)!"

(Name) let out a small sigh with rosy cheeks, swearing she heard the man purr happily at her. Mirajane smiled "innocently" at her ship before her, "Good morning Natsu."

"Morning Mira~" Said salamander spoke out with a faint purring sound, he was holding his little "gemstone" after all. (Name) squirmed around a bit as she felt a weird sensation burn through her, it made her feel weird yet curious. Natsu eventually released (Name) from her "captive confines" and stayed close by, grinning at her like nothing happened, "Good morning~!"

"M-Morning Natsu...." (Name) said softly before she felt a hand be placed on her back; this feeling sent a tingle down her spine, she didn't know why she had this tingle but it felt pretty nice.

"Heeeyyy! (Name)-chan!" Lucy shouted out as she came over to her, smiling wide and bid a good morning to Natsu with a....

Is that a blush on her cheeks?

"Hey Luce, what's up- wha??!"

Lucy pulled (Name) along outside with her, leaving the poor girl to stumble along with her onwards to the mission site...

A.N- Short chapter that took TOO long to update, so I am cutting it short -3- hopefully the next part will fair better than this one....
