Worlds Away From Home

Prolouge

Woo, second story and this time I will hopefully finish this up~ I plan on updating my other [published] story eventually... im kinda lacking a little driving force but I hope you all will like this! The Ratings for each chapter will change because things will either end up "spicy" but its just a little warning in case they do... So, you all have been warned! (I will also give a warning beforehand so you have the option to skip that part/chapter) ((BTW, im calling all of you my baby turtles... cuz they're cute~))-Starburst

Dulled eyes looked up at the blank world, mind hazy as body felt light yet heavy at the same time. Her right arm sudenly started to burn, she groaned and winced at the pain as a symbol appeared around her wrist, it felt like it was slowly being etched directly into her skin. The pain was unbearable as she fell in and out of conciousness, missing a soft voice whisper something to her in broken pieces, "Protect... Light... Home..."

(Name)'s eyes slowly fluttered opened as she saw herself falling from the skies, the ground coming closer and closer to her sights as she plumeted to the earth below; she covered her eyes and braced for impact as the ground came closer and closer, expecting to hit the ground but stopped short of impact. She was gently placed on the ground before extreme pain screamed acrossed her head, causing her to wince and stagger a bit as her mind fell in and out of conciousness while black danced across her eyes; she couldnt think straight, her body felt like it was on fire as her head ache got worse and worse.

It dulled away to a painful throb, her ears picking up on the sound of rusting to have her eyes land on a large creature; its teeth was sharp and dripping wet with some liquid, its eyes beady red and blood lusty for innocent victims, its large tusk curled a little around its head as it eyed (Name) down with eagerness. It towered over her body, she took light steps back as it came closer and closer, the urge to spill blood was on its mind as (Name) quivered in fear, 'W-What is that?!'

"G...Girlie..." It grunted out, eyeing her down from head to toe with a deep grin as it came closer, "Me... Want..."

"S-Stay away!" (Name) cried out as she turned to run away, disappearing into the forest a bit as the creature howled and gave into the chase; (Name) kept on going, glancing back a little behind her as she didn't stop moving away from the creature. She suddenly tripped and fell down a steep slope with some rocks, skidding to a halt as her ankle suddenly ached; the creature came into focus, (Name)'s eyes widened with fear as saliva oozed from it's corners.

She cried out as the creature lunged forward, time slowed down immensely as she curled up as best as she could and braced for impact; her eyes cracked open a little as the creature was a little ways away and someone stood in front of her with a fist encased in flames, eyes narrowed and annoyance high from the salmon-haired male, "Hey! Pick on someone who can fight, you red-eye ass wipe!"

"Natsu! Why'd you run off-" another voice spoke as they came closer from the top of the steep hill, (Name) looked up at the blond-haired female with wide eyes as she looked down at her, "What are you doing?! Dragging some innocent civilian into this?!"

"Lucy, I was here to save-" Natsu started before he was punched in the face and set flying back into the side of the slope, the distint chucking of that creature was an indication that it was the one who did it. (Name) had little time to react when its tail, which she realized it actually had one by this point, wrapped around her sprained ankle and hoilstered her up into the air; she cried out when pressure was applied, making it ache from the pain even more before she was tossed carelessly onto the side. Her body ached as she was left in a daze, body stumbling and unable to fully get up to run away with her injured ankle. It whipped her in the ribs suddenly, causing (Name) to cry out and fall back down before it came closer once again.

"Open! Gate of the Lion! Leo!" Lucy called out as a golden light shined a bit, (Name) barely had time to registered anything before her body was picked up and moved when the creature lunged for her; it bit into rock and spat it out in disgust, (Name) recovered from her dizzy spell and looked up at the man who moved her, "Nice save Loke!"

He looked down at (Name) and smiled kindly, causing said female to blush lightly at him, "Are you alright, miss? That was a very dangerous spot you where in..."

(Name) nodded her head lightly, cheeks getting a little redder at the fact she was still in his arms; he set her down gently as her ankle was still injured, Natsu's distinct battle cry was heard as flashes of light from in the vally was an indication that he was fighting that creature still and that he recovered from his toss. Lucy came over to (Name) and Loke, nodding her head at him in appriciation before turning to (Name), "What were you thinking! You could've gotten yourself killed... That red-eyed Balisk is dangerous, you know?!"

(Name) looked down a little in shame, unable to speak up on the fact the thing found her and not the other way around; Lucy sighed and shook her head, peaking over as Natsu laughed a victorious laughter as the Balisk laid defeated, "Gyahaha! Didn't even stand a chance against me! Oh, hey Loke!"

Loke nodded his head towards Natsu as (Name) felt awkward before all them, wincing a little when she shifted a bit and her ankle pulsed with pain; she saw a flash of something and shoved Natsu out of the way, next thing anyone knew was that there was a large spike lodged in the spot (Name) was in.

Inside a tree close by, another red-eyed Balisk hissed lowly at it's mate being burnt to a crisp before her very eyes with the intention on taking out one of the females before her. (Name) was left a little dizzy as the sudden speed left her dazed, Natsu looked down at (Name) with slightly wide eyes as Lucy pointed to the tree with the Balisk in it, "T-There's another one!"

Natsu growled lowly as he unconsciously shifted a bit more to cover (Name), eyes narrowing down lowly as the Balisk set it's sights on Lucy; she dodged out of the way of another attack as (Name) got off of Natsu, heart racing from some unknown reason as this sense of protection rolled off of him a little, "What... Is this feeling...? Do I know him from somewhere...?"

Natsu stood up as Lucy moved over towards Loke, they stood in front of the girls as the Balisk lunged forward and they drew their fist back; they punched the creature dead in it's face, it's body crumpled up a tiny bit as (Name)'s eyes widened up a bit from the sheer froce they applied. The Balisk shreaked as it went flying into the tree, splintering it as it fell unconcious on the ground in a lump. (Name) let out a small sigh of relief, wincing still as her ankle was still aching as Lucy stood up and dusted herself off, "Well... that takes care of the Balisk... what are we going to do about her?"

"Take her back to the village, duh! she must've gotten lost on the way there..." Natsu laughed as (Name) sighed, squeaking a little when Loke picked her up bridal style; her cheeks were a deep rosy red as Natsu looked back, "By the way... we never got your name..."

"Its (Name)...." She said but couldnt remember anything else before that, ankle still pulsating in pain as she tired to remember anything else; Natsu grinned and nodded his head, making (Name) feel calmer, "I can walk... I think..."

"Your ankle is sprained, Ms. (Name)..." Loke pointed out in time as she winced again from the pain in her ankle, sighing when she tried to walk the pain off but it wasnt doing much to convince anyone of it, "You shouldn't be walking with a hurt ankle..."

"I'm fine, really!" (Name) said as she tried to play it off like nothing happened, not convincing anyone as Natsu suddenly lugged her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, "H-Hey!"

"Alrighty~ Back to the town!" Natsu said as he ignored (Name)'s protest, carrying her towards the town once again as she struggled a bit in protest to be placed down on the ground; Lucy sighed as Loke bowed a little to Lucy and returned back to the celestial world, following behind quietly as (Name) gave up on getting free from his grasp.
