Peter Quill X Reader - No Time Like the Present {FLUFF}

I'm just kidding. Now that I'm done school I can focus more on my writing and I've been getting more ideas day by day so I'll have fics coming soon!

Anyways! This was a request made last year and I have finally finished. Now, I will say this. I tweaked the request so that it takes place after endgame so Peter and the reader have been together for 7 years rather than 4. And because my previous chapter was smut, I made this fluff. If you would like a part two with smut, please let me know and I will do it as best I can.

PLEASE NOTE!: Because this is a fanfic, not everything is accurate to the movies. I brought Nat back, Stucky is a thing so Steve doesn't stay behind with Peggy, Vision is alive, Pietro is alive, Bruce is back in his human form, Gamora and Nebula are a bit OOC, Tony survived (cause I hate that he's gone) and a few more that I might've forgotten. Please don't hate on me!

Being together for so long always bags the question of marriage. 'When are you gonna get married?' When are you gonna have kids?' 'Are you going to settle down in one place?'. These may be question to ask a normal couple, but for a couple that fights aliens with murals and aliens as well as a couple who flys through space on a space ships, it's hard to answer these questions.

The Guardians of the Galaxy were currently on earth, finally being able to celebrate the victory against Thanos. They were celebrating with the avengers and the allies they made through out the fight. Steve had returned the stones and come back, bringing Nat back with him. Everyone was happy to see her again, Clint bursting into tears and Bruce reverting back to his human self, hugging her tightly and kissing her like he'd loose her again.

The team was able to save Tony, even if he now has a prosthetic arm like Bruce. Everyone was content. Morgan had her father, Bruce and Nat had each other Clint had his best friend back. Bruce and Tony were able to reprogram vision and bring him back for Wanda, who broke down in tears, hugging her lover as they whispers how much they loved one another.

Everyone was happy. Tony had organized a victory party for everyone. The guardians, the Avengers, the Wakandans, whoever fought with them against Thanos was invited.

It was at this party that Peter Quill, leader of the Guardians, the Star Lord, was going to propose to his girlfriend. They had been together for exactly 7 years and he believed that it was now or never. They had been together for two year before the snap and had disappeared together. Now, five years later, they were still together and more in love than ever.

(Y/N) had been Peter's childhood best friend. She was there for him when his mother was sick, he waited for him to come back. And when he did, he brought her back to space with him and taught her everything. (Y/N) helped him through so much. She was there for him through it all and he loved her so much.

(Y/N) loved Peter so much. She wanted to spend her life with him, she wanted to have e a family with him. She wanted to enjoy their life together. She was excited for the party because she would get to see all the new friends she's made. She would get to celebrate their victory with her family and that was all she could ask for.

(Y/N), Nat, Wanda, Shuri, Pepper, Valkyrie, Carol, Hope, Okoye, Janet, Nebula, Mantis and Gamora were all on their own floor in the common room getting ready together. They were helping each other to pick out outfits that suited them and did their makeup and hair.
