This one is a Stucky angst. And i don't like writing too much angst, so I packed a lot of fluff into the end to make up for it.

Dark.

Cold.

Wet.

Lonely.

I'd stop counting the days. The minutes. It felt as though I'd been gone for years. The pain was as unbearable as the first day.

I was chained to the wall, almost completely naked, having HYDRA goons do what they wanted with me. I could do nothing to stop them. I was helpless, and all I could do what endure the pain of what they'd do.

They would experiment on me. They would inject me with different substances and chemicals and see what I could do. They would interrogate me for information but I would keep my mouth shut.

They may have broken my body, but my mind remained somewhat strong. The only thoughts running through:

Save me, please.

~Steve&Bucky POV~

Save me, please.

Steve and Bucky awoke with a start, looking to each other before jumping out of bed and running through the compound, telling FRIDAY to wake the avengers immediately.

The emergency Assemble alarm went off and Bucky and Steve made it to the conference room when they quickly changed into their suits. Soon the rest of the team had assembled, some still in pj's, others in there suits.

"What's so important you had to wake us up at 2am guys?" Sam said, sounding sleepy and annoyed.

"(Y/N)." Both men simply stated and that caused everyone to perk up immediately.

"What about her?" Nat asked, he suit materializing onto her body along with the rest of the team.

"We heard her," Bucky started.

"She was speaking to us," Steve continued.

"She's alive." Both said at the same time.

The rest of the team sighed, knowing they'd be through this time and time again.

"Steve.." Tony said and came up to them both, placing a hand on each of there shoulders. "I would love nothing more than to believe that (Y/N) is alive but you have to face that she's not here anymore. There's no way she could've have survived that explosion." Tony said, trying to keep his tears contained.

The rest of the team hung their heads, thinking of their lost teammate.

They were battling HYDRA when a bomb went off in the facility, bringing the whole building down. (Y/N) was the only one who didn't make it out. She transmitted the information to the team before the bomb went off.
