Part of me doesn't want to accept this feeling or what I was saying but the other rejoiced at my confession, I was confused by my own self and decisions as I stared into Adriens crystallized eyes.

"Please tell me this isn't a dream or another lie Rosalie, don't put me through such pain ever again." His arms engulfed me in a warm hug much like years ago.

"I promise this is the truth." I replied and in a moments his lips were placed on mine, the outside world went mute as I felt his soft yet tender lips against mine. They molded perfectly with each other, this cold heart inside of me had melted away as I felt what I have longed for. His love and warmth.

As our lips separated there was no longer a feeling of wanting more, we already knew we had each other somehow.

"I'm so sorry for everything that I've done to you Rosalie, I know that I can never take all that time back but I hope we can fix this with the new opportunity you have given me." He spoke and I smiled.

"The universe may not want us together but I do.We can tear each other apart and believe it's what is right but I refuse to accept it that way. I want you,
and I want this." When I looked back into his eyes after those words came out he looked shocked but kissed my lips again, but the kiss was broken quickly when I heard Lucas's sniffles.

"I'm so sorry you had to see that baby, It will never happen again. I'm so sorry." I spoke and held onto Lucas. His body and sniffles calmed down at my touch and I knew he calmed down again.

"I'm sorry for scaring you back there, I know you'll probably still be frightened by me but I'm your father. Hopefully one day you can grow to accept me and make up for loss times." Adrien apologized to Lucas while he peaked one eye to him but looked away quickly. I knew he was still scared and this will take time but I was willing to wait and be by their side.

"Mommy I don't like him." I chuckled a bit as Lucas spoke, yeah it will definitely take some time.

"It's alright sweetheart, I know it will take some time and I'm okay with waiting for however long it takes. So why don't we go see grandma and grandpa to ease your mind a bit." I replied while wiping away his tears, after I stood up along with Adrien and we stepped out of the room. He started guided me down the hallway and back to the main ballroom. A small moment of silence had waved over as we both entered, with Lucas in my arms and Adriens hand at the back of my waist.

"Grandma Grandpa!" Lucas yelled and squirmed a big in my arms so I placed him down and watched as he ran to my parents but Isabella was quick to scoop him up and tickle him. They looked over at the site of the two of us together and held a stern look on their faces. The assembly shortly returned to its normal chatter as we walked over to my parents.

"Mom, Dad I want you to properly meet the father of Lucas." I said and they both dropped their glasses of champagne.

"Wait, so h-he's the father." My mother stuttered which surprised me because she usually never does this. I looked into her eyes and nodded then averted them toward sky now pissed father.

"We're going to have a long fucking talk Mr. Van Cartier, you may have contributed some part in my grandsons birth but that means nothing with how you treated my daughter." My father gritted then gave a harsh pat on Adrien's back.

"I know my action were rather questionable and unheard of and I know that whatever it is worth I am deeply sorry Mr. Laurents." Adrien held an apologetic look in his eyes as he spoke.

"No apology will save you now.." My father whispered to Adrien and I somehow could still hear it. Then I heard the sound of footstep following from behind, I didn't think much of it until I heard a stern and deep voice from behind.

"Is there a problem here Adrien, ah Stephen it's so good to see you here." I looked back and saw an old man with black sideburns. He wore a neat black tux with a deep red tie.

"Mr. Carlyle Van Cartier, what a pleasant surprise to see you here." My father grimaced at the sight of this man and I could tell thy knew each other but not on the best terms.

"Oh it's good to see you again Marie." Adriens mother spoke as she follows behind with her husband.

"I would say likewise if it were under different circumstance Emile." My mother suddenly replied as she stood her ground next to my father.

"Don't stress yourself my love, they aren't worth it." My father said as the air only grew thicker by the second, tension was rising in the room with each word.

"Stephen, I see you have already met my father. May I have a word with you in private, old frien-"

"Oh but of course Gabriel, good old friends always keep the other locked up for years now." Gabriel held the look of regret as his eyes averted downward.

"I'm sorry but is there something g that I am missing Stephen, I don't seem to quite understand your frase of being 'locked up for years'." The older man chuckled as he took my fathers comment as a joke.

"So your own father doesn't know about what you have done, because I remember quite frankly being locked up. But after all it is the least of my worries. Mr. Carlyle I hope you know your grandson shot my wife, and you know how I hate to bring a war down dear old friend but it seems I left you and your family off the hook too easily." My father finished off and everyone turned their attention towards Adrien and me who were by the center of the room with Lucas.

"I know my past actions are no excuse for the damage that I have caused but I hope over time you can forgive me Mis Laurents." Adrien pleaded and my mother scoffed.

"I care less about when you shot me, more over the fact that you caused my daughter pain. That damn treaty should have never been made that day, this would have all been avoided. This means war." My mother stood up as she spoke then pulled out a gun from her purse. Aiming straight at Adrien. The crowd around us noticed quickly and gasps erupted from the room.

"Enough mom, this isn't what I want alright, think of Lucas mom. I know these two families don't get along but now we almost have no other choice. So tell me mom and dad, do you want to bring war upon with your grandson right in the middle of it." She looked down in dispare as she realized my point in the argument.

"A-Adrien's the father." I turned around and saw an almost pale Emile. She looked over at Lucas who jumped down from Isabella's arms and ran towards me.

"Yes I am his father, I'm sorry if you don't approve of this Mister and Miss Laurents but I won't be absent any longer in my sons life. So wether you hate me for causing so much pain to your daughter or for whatever reason, I love her and I want to make amends for the trouble I have caused in the past as well as be there for my son." The room was shocked by Adrien's reply, the cat was out of the bag as they all looked over at Lucas.

"When did this, how?" His mother Emile walked over to Lucas and examined his face, she saw the similarities he held with Adrien and I. Then she smiled and a few small tears fell from her eyes.

"I have a grandson." She replied and hugged Lucas, his father along with his brother and sister went over to them and they all looked so happy as Lucas began to warm up to them.

"Rosalie is this what you want, I can't help but worry for you. You saw and witnessed what he did to you, is this really your choice." Isabella announced as she came to my side.

"I want to see how it goes Isabella, Lucas deserves the childhood I wished for with both of his parents." I responded and she nodded, soon my mother followed by my father came and engulfed me in a hug.

"So does this mean no war." I exclaimed in a joking tone, the room filled with laughter and soon you could say this family was reunited together again.
