"No, I don't think so. Mhm. Wait wait, why wasn't I notified  of this; He's my best friend for Pete's sake!" Exclaimed Wally from the other side of the room. He seemed to be talking to someone, but even as Norman made consciousness again, he couldn't tell who. He looked around his surroundings; he was still on the wooden floor,  but in a different room. 'Wonder why they didn't bother putting laying him down on something. Not remembering what happened, he wanted to go see what the commotion was about, so 'e tried to sit up. However he was stopped from going up further than a few dozen centimetres, as someone put their hand on his shoulder, pushing him back down. Confused, he looked up and slightly back, to find none other than Samuel Lawrence looking down at him with a concerned look. Seeing Sammy puzzled Norman. Because of the fall, he didn't even remember what happened when he first encountered the blonde-haired musician, only just noticing him on his first week or whatnot. Thinking about it, it probably wasn't the best for Norman. I mean, it isn't very good if the guy finding out secrets can't remember them right? Anyways-..

"Uhm, what's going on?" Asked Norman sceptically and full of confusion. Sammy sighed as wally turned around. Norman could hear footsteps of the mystery person Wally was talking to fade as everyone in the room stared at him. "Wait, you seriously don't remember?" Asked Wally. Sammy lifted his hand off of Mr Polk's shoulder. Norman shook his head and Wally let out a deep breath.

In everyone else's perspective, the fall must have been bad because it seemed as if he didn't remember much. Thing is, Norman didn't have a good memory anyways, but the others didn't exactly know that.

"N-Never mind. Y'know, I think you should rest; go and ask Mr Drew if you can take some time off; and say I told you to ask." Commanded Wally. Feeling as if he didn't have a choice, Norman reluctantly stood up. He wobbled a bit at first, but once he got 'used' to it again he put his hand up to his head and walked out of the door which Linda was holding open for him, looking down.

               ***********************************************************************************************

Norman knocked on the door in front of him. Above it read 'Office Of Joey Drew'' in big bold writing. Some of the ink it was written with was dripping too, surprisingly seen as it had been painted months before the he had arrived.

"Come on in," Stated Norman's boss from inside. Norman opened the door and stood in the doorframe, slightly leaning on the small amount of wall there was. "But it better not be another complaint about losing your keys again if you're W-" Joey Drew started again and stopped. He looked up from his papers to find not Wally with a guilty look on his face, but Norman with a confuzzled look on his face.

"Ah, Norman! One my best employees; glad to see you, just the worker I was looking for! Now, I would love to have a nice chat with you but I'm very busy." He Stated, standing up with a stack of paper and walking over to him with it. "We got a lot of bad reviews on the last cartoon-"

"The one where  Bendy became a firefighter?" Interrupted Norman.

"Uh, yes yes. As I was saying, we got a lot of bad reviews on the quality of it and 'I'm Afraid' you'll need to step up your game. We have four days until we piece the cartoon together and you need to upgrade the projectors in some way to make it smoother.  So, chop chop!" He explained, plopping the stack of papers into Mr Polk's hands, some flying out of the pile and onto the partially ink stained floor.

"Oh, uh, actually Joey- I m-mean boss-" Norman started to talk back in the most polite manner he could, as Joey raised an eyebrow, his black, greasy hair going in front of his right eye so you could only just see it.

He was calm around others, but he just got nervous around Joey because he had overheard things he's planned to do to others a few times, so he tried to be on his best behaviour. Norman had always been sceptical of Mr Drew, but he never asked or approached him about it. He's managed to stay calm enough, well apart from the stuttering I suppose.

"Wally sent me here tuh, uh, ask you if I could have a day off..." Spoke Norman, clutching onto the papers his boss had given him. Joey,  Paused, thinking about why. Right, of course, Norman had injured himself or something, How could he forget!? I mean, he didn't necessarily want to care for is workers, but for what he was planning, he needed them to be in 'good enough' condition.

"Oh, why of course Mr Polk! You go take a rest for today, I'll handle your job for now." Replied Joey quite loudly

Norman seemed quite happy at that response, and put the stack of remaining papers down on Joey's desk before a quick 'thank you' and he left, closing the door behind him.

This, was the perfect time to properly start his plan. Norman was off -so he wouldn't be there to find out any more secrets-, Sammy was occupied, he had fired Henry -using him retiring as a cover-up- and everyone else were in their designated locations. He had it all planned out.

Mr Drew sat in silence, pondering. Everyone else apart from Norman was oblivious as one could get. The only thing troubling on their mind was how bad Norman's fall was and what he could remember. Mr Drew had known that Norman had listened in to some of his plans, which was why he needed to get rid of, and this was the perfect oppourtunity to figure out how.
