Artemis POV -:
I was furious.
Furious because I did not know where her son was hidden by Orion. Furious because if I didn't find him the other Olympians would find him.
I could not let that happen. I would never lose the pride of her oath that she kept. The same oath I by mistake broke for Orion.
Now Styx is about to come to ask me the choice.
*Flashback*
I remembered waking up and seeing Styx in her true form with a pleasant yet sad smile.
"Good morning Lady Artemis I imagine you did not go through the repercussions of you breaking your sacred oath," said Styx.
I was confused "What oath? I didn't break any oath Lady Styx." I spoke.
She frowned and said "Then may I ask what happened with Orion last night?"
"What do you mean?" I asked her perplexed.
Then suddenly I remembered everything.
"Oh no "I said shocked as everything came flooding back to me
"Oh no hardly covers it Lady Artemis I also sense you are pregnant."
"This can't be happening"
"But it is Lady Artemis."
"I have come to give you a choice to save your Oath but I warn you there will be a consequence and a price for both choices"
I was on the verge of braking down.
"There are only two choices, you tell the truth to the council in 5 years' time after the child is born and bear the consequences or you kill the child in 5 years. I will come back after 5 years to ask your choice."
After Styx left, I broke down into sobs and cried till my throat was raw.
Then I felt anguish. I had to plan an assassination and make cover story for his death.
*Flashback Over*
I have made my choice.
I may regret it but I have to protect my oath.
Styx materializes in front me.
"Have you made your choice Lady Artemis?"
"Yes, I am attacking Sparta as my choice."
"So, I assume you would protect your oath and have found where your son Perseus is hidden?"
I take a deep breath.
With a cold demeanor I say something no mother would do but I was desperate I had to,
"Yes, I have decided to kill him"
(AN) I am seriously sorry for not updating sooner cuz I had one to my Grandparents place and the don't have any internet connection.
Anyyyways I'll try to update more frequently.
