Chapter 4: Where are you?

"Secretary Park! I told you to contact Director Reese!"

"I'm sorry sir, she's not answering her phone, and I've been told she's not at home"

"Nevermind call Director Yoon here!"

…..

"What is it Eva- I mean Chairman?"

"Drop the formalities, has Madellide contacted you?"

"No, why? Did something happen?"

"She didn't called for a leave and there's no one at her place right now"

"That's…"

"What?"

"Ah no, that's not the Madellide I know"

"Right! Where has that brat been!"

" Did you go to the cafe nearby? She might be there"

"Not yet, let's go"

------------------------Evan's POV ---------------------

Where could Madellide go? I'm so worried, I worry for her safety. I hope that she doesn't come out, please I'm begging you, please don't come out.

"Good Morning was the woman who always frequents and orders latté has gone here?"

"No sir"

"Is that so? Thank you"

"Ian she didn't go here"

"She's not answering her phone"

"Let's stroll around, we might see her here"

"Well, let's do that"

After strolling around the vicinity as there is no sign of her, we decided to go to the other street, she might have gone to a mall, maybe it's not a big deal however I treated her like a sister and one of my family. Her being gone is not the only thing that makes me anxious.

"Where are you Madellide?"

Ian and I searched the other street, and I saw a glimpse of her from the crowd. 

"Ian! She's there!"

"Let's call out to her, however she might not hear us from this crowd"

"Let's just slip through this big crowd, don't let your eyes out of her"

"Yes sir!"

The crowd is unending as a vast ocean keeps on gushing waves of people.

"Excuse me, excuse me! Let us through"

Both Ian and Evan managed to get out of the crowd and both called out to Madellide howbeit she didn't even turn around to their plea.

"Madellide wait up"

Both of them placed their hands on her shoulders, which made Madellide frightened.

"Hey! Why didn't you contact us! Not even a single word, do you know how worried we are"

"Ian calm down! Look! She's alarmed"

Ian being confused, the girl in front of him doesn't seem to be the one he knows. 

"This is not the Madellide I know, You, who are you?"

"I should be the one asking you that, who are you?" As she responded to Ian.

Evan seemed calm as if he knew what's going on and Ian was put into shock as the body and face of Madellide they know are in front of them and somehow she doesn't seem to be her.
