Joshua winterfeild has just returned from an AA meeting.
Ever since Lucia came into his life she has filled it with love and healing . It changed from lust to loath then love in the few months they had been together, after Ruby left he moved out of the Oval estate as Lucia told him that a certain writer had spotted us quite a few times.
It was that short woman who lives on the tenth floor. Her husband had probably filled her when he also spotted us having tea at the Oval restaurant . He chose to ignore us and get his donuts.
Joshua set in his car for a while, in the empty parking lot. He knew he was wrong for laying a hand on his wife , but everytime he looked at her all he saw was someone he didn't love anymore. He couldn't stay in a loveless relationship anymore...his mother couldn't give him any more reason why he should.
He was in love. Lucia though decided to keep her walls up, even when he expressed his love for her all she would says is 'I love my husband Josh even if he doesn't touch me like you do but he is still the only man I can be in love with ".
It broke him even when Last night she had talked about wanting to end things ...she ended up leaving the restaurant earlier just so she could catch her flight with her husband.
He climbed out of his car and walked to the Oval club.
He had divorce papers to sign and Lucia had called him a dozen times already .
He knew it was to end their relationship but he didn't want to hear anything anymore. It was already his birthday and he was all alone .
Joshua felt silly for even booking him and Lucia tickets to Rome for the weekend.

After sipping on his third cup of coffee he felt like going out of the restaurant and going to the pub right next door. But even if the woman he had fallen for was breaking his heart, she still would not like seeing him give up on the goals she had him write down.
1. Quite drinking
2.seek anger management therapy
3. Become a better person .
He promised himself to atleast make one of those goals a reality. And he was about to make the other two come true by first signing the divorce papers in front of him ,and give Ruby her life back .
And call his mother to seek some anger management therapy.
It was when he decided to drive out of the restaurant and drive back to the hotel ,that he got three texts from Lucia.
