Chapter 13

Draco's Pov:

So Draco, who is your girlfriend?" Blaise smirked as I gave him a confused look.

"I don't have a girlfriend." I stutter, confused at how he thinks I do. Even though I do, he couldn't know.

"Oh, come on Draco. I've known you for years, it's so obvious." He scoffed.

"I do not have a girlfriend. Why would you even think that?" I rolled my eyes  at him. Now I'm really scared. To be honest, I've never really had to keep a lot of secrets apart from really big ones so keeping this from my best friend is quite hard.

"Fine, you've got me! Don't tell anyone. It's meant to be a secret." I sighed. Great, I've ready blurted out a secret I've hardly kept for a week.

"So, tell me about this mysterious girl." Blaise laughed and I gave a nervous laugh.

"We even got a secret handshake and she listens to the music that I love." I talked about her as if I was in love with her. Was I? I'm not sure. "I know I'm going but if I had to choose her or the son, i'd be one nocternal son of a gun." I say as I look as if I'm day dreaming about her.

Y/n's Pov:

I go to find Draco. I heard his voice so I walked into the room where I heard him. I walked in but i saw he was talking to Blaise but I decided to say hi to them anyways. 

"Take a look at my girlfriend." Draco blurts out as soon as he sees me. "She's the only one I got." He continues. I give him a death stare as I open my mouth in shock from what he had just said. Blaise and I opened his mouth and gasped.

"You can't keep your mouth shut, can you?" I roll my eyes and scoff. I decide to sit next to him as I thought that Blaise would want some sort of explanation.

"You two? Draco and Y/n? Malfoy and Potter?" Blaise laughed.  He couldn't believe it.

"Uh- yeah- no one was meant to find out, Draco!" I said to Blaise then turned my attention to Draco.

"What? It just came out!" He shrugged his shoulders. I gave him a death stare.

"Oh come on, he's my best friend. He practically forced me to tell him!" He said while giving Blaise an evil smirk.

"What? No! I can tell when your keeping something from me so I just asked if you had a significant other." Blaise sounded slightly offended.

"So, both your families hate eachother yet you two still proceed to date?" Blaise raised his eyebrow.

"And that's why we are keeping this a secret. I swear Zabini, if you dare tell anyone I won't hesitate to-" I start before Blaise interrupts me.

"Calm down! Calm down! Jeez your feisty. Don't worry, I won't tell a soul." Blaise laughs.

"Good, now I'm going to leave you two so you can have your not talk or whatever you talk about." I smile.

"Well, Draco was just talking about you actually." Blaise smirked.

"Oh really? Well, you two have fun. I'll  be off, bye boys." I smirked as I waved them goodbye.

Time Lapse

The next day

Draco invited me to sit with him, Blaise and Pansy.  I was really hesitant as I wasn't a big fan of Pansy. I could tell Pansy hated me, probably because I was a Potter. Most slytherins hated me. Pansy was also obsessed with Draco but Draco was not not her biggest fan either. To be honest, I think that he just felt sorry for her.

"Hey Draco, wanna go out?" Pansy asked Draco. She sounded really desperate.

"I have standards, Parkinson. Besides, I'm already taken." Draco scoffed ad I gave him a 'What are you doing?' look.

"Taken? Of course you are! Your probably just playing her. You know, I'm probably way better than her and she's probably ugly." Pansy rolled her eyes at the thought of Draco having a girlfriend who was not her. Draco had told me ages ago about when him and Pansy used to go out. He broke up with her because apparently she was really clingy and I can see that.

"The only ugly one here is you, Parkinson." Draco scoffed while me and Blaise laughed. Pansy gasped in shock. She was mortified.

"Y/n, watch your man-" Blaise started before before he realised what he just said. He quickly covered his mouth and gave me an apologetic look.

"You should watch your mouth!" I shout at him as they all stare at me. Pansy scoffed in disgust as she looked me up and down while rolling her eyes.

"Is this a joke?" Pansy started, still scoffing. "Who would want to go out with her?" She looked me up and down before rolling her eyes for the 100th time.

"Me, and I do go out with her. Also, she's not ugly and she's definitely better than you!" Draco shouted at her. I could tell he was getting mad.

"Whatever! This is disgusting, I'm leaving." Pansy stated before getting up and storming off.

"Listen, guys. I'm really sorry, I'm worse at keeping things than Draco and that's saying something." Blaise laughs, trying to ease the tension with a joke.

"It's alright, I guess. If she tells people then I don't really care, it's hard keeping this a secret. You know what I mean?" I sigh.

"I get it, I'm bad at keeping this a secret. We just can't risk your brother, or his granger friend, or weaslebee, or basically anyone in Gryffindor." Draco nervously laughs.

"I very much doubt that Pansy of all people, would go talking to a Gryffindor." I laugh, Blaise and Draco laugh with me.
