A New Beginning (1)

[A/N: This is my first chapter ever! Constructive criticism is welcome. Mostly platonic but maybe some romance too ;) teen romance only though, since the Reader is a Minor.
Bucky and Loki will appear later since they hold a special place in my heart lmao. God has let me live another day and I'm going to make it everybody's problem. >:) ]

"Oh fuck me."

Pulling my 2nd all-nighter this week, I yawned into my books. This years Math exam was coming up soon and my parents had very, very high expectations. I couldn't care less at this point - yet the guilt of possibly failing kept me glued to my chair. I felt like hot trash.

"C'mon Y/N... You can do this... I... crap..."

Feeling my body slowly slip into unconsciousness but to tired to struggle, I fell into heavy sleep. It can be that bad, right? A nap won't hurt...
Little did I know that that night, my whole life would shift.

Steve POV

"Where is she? What happened?" I urged, walking through the lab. I looked up at Stark – he looked just as confused as I am.
"I'm... not sure actually. A civilian was found on the roof of the Tower. We have no idea who she is – our database found nothing. Even FRIDAY couldn't find any files on her. It's like...she doesn't even exist." Tony admitted. "No family, no friends, no school, nothing."

I looked over to the girl. She looked young – too young – about 15. How did she even get here? Maybe she's a spy... Hydra? Red Room? Failed experiment? What if she's here to get rid of us - pretending to be weak and defenseless - about to attack any moment now? What if-

Snatching me out of my thoughts, I saw the girl slowly fluttering her eyes and groaning. I looked over to Tony, but he was already at her side.

"Hey, you alright kid?" He asked the teen, reassuringly.

Suddenly, her eyes snapped open. She looked at Tony, then me, then back at Tony. She then proceeded to loudly shriek. I took a step back, startled.

"Holy Jesus mother of God! YOU'RE IRON MAN!?" - she looked back at me - "CAPTAIN AMERICA!!" She bolted up, both scared and ecstatic.

A sly smirk appeared on Tony's lips "So, you've heard of us?" I rolled my eyes, unimpressed.

"It's my turn to ask questions. May you explain how you suddenly appeared on the rooftop of one of the tallest buildings in New York. Laying unconsciously in your Pajamas? Who are you? How do we know you're not a Hydra spy? Why would we trust you? Explain girdled immediately" – I demanded.

She blinked a couple times, confused. You can practically see the wheels in her head turning. Her S/C (Skin/color (look at end notes)) flesh seemed to loose its livelihood as she came to a hard realization. She looked at her hands, then back at me. I could sees glint of fear and amazement in her eyes as she spoke;

"But.. you aren't real..."

I looked at the girl, wide eyed;

Oh, so she's crazy.

Y/N's POV

Steve-fucking-Rogers looked at me like he's just seen a ghost. I looked back at Robert Down- goddamn Iron Man as he analyzed my face. He didn't seem that shocked. Just really confused.

"What do you mean?" He prompted, curiously.

"I.. you're not real. Like, fictional. Like as in, a fucking movie. What the actual fuck."

"Language" Steve quietly muttered, earning an amused glare from Tony.

Tony got up from his seat and walked over to the handful of computer screens.

"Why would we believe you? You could be lying." He accused.

Shit. He's right.

I felt my hands heating up. My palms got sweaty while I got visibly nervous.

"Natasha was raised in the Red Room, Bucky was brainwashed, Loki was mind controlled, Steve used to fill his shoes with newspaper, Tony Stark is bisexual and Bruce attempted suicide. Thors' mother is dead, the Falcon is Sam Wilson. Also, the Maximoff twins are absolutely smoking hot. Like, absolutely BLAZING. 10/10. Mother of Christ" I blabbered without thinking.

Fuck.

"..."

"Wanda and Pietro are what now?"
