How it all began

"Isn't this lovely"Lilly said softly, "Just me, you and the beautiful country side, couldn't ask for anything better" Ava-Mae replied with a smile.

You see Lilly and Ava-Mae have not always been able to enjoy the simple joys of life. This is where the story begins...

As a young girl Lilly was the happiest most confident child in the world, until her whole life was turned upside down in the blink of an eye.

Lilly's dad was forever cuddling her and playing with her toys, the perfect Dad or so it seemed. Lilly's mum would always call her for tea and with a great big grin on her face she would ask everyday without fail "what's for tea mummy" and of course her mum would always reply with what she was making.

One night Lilly was sleeping soundly when she was awoken by a loud noise. She jumped up out of bed as at three years old any loud noise is frightening. Lilly finally reached the living room where she saw her mum sat sobbing. "Mummy what's wrong" she said sadly, also crying at that point. Her mum replied "it's nothing baby just go back to bed" so after looking around the room and not seeing her dad she followed her orders and made her way back to bed where she slept again.

The next day Lilly went downstairs where her mum greated her with breakfast and a glass of milk. "Mummy where's daddy" Lilly said hopefully. "He's just gone out for a minute and should be back soon" was the reply Lilly got. To Lilly's surprise her dad was never seen or spoken about again.
