The Adventurous Life of Zuzu

Assignment

Zuzu and Buttercup carefully stepped into the office, aware of their escape routes and surroundings. They were trained to do this when they walked into any room.

The office was dark. With only a little bit of light coming from the window, not a lot was noticeable. Except for the big, oak desk and giant spiny chair behind it. On the chair sat Sugar. (pictured above) She almost looked royal, her brownish tinted fur catching the little bit of light shining in. But she looked tired. She had been doing this for to long and rumor had it she was going to retire soon.

Zuzu and Buttercup walked up to the desk, acknowledged the Boss, and sat in the chairs in front of the desk.

"I'm sure your all wondering why we have gathered here today. We are here to discuss your upcoming assignment."

"Yay! New assignment, I hope this one is fun, the last one was kinda boring. No offense to anyone." Buttercup couldn't help herself.

"None taken Buttercup." The Boss added.

"So, whats the new assignment Boss?" Zuzu asked.

"I need you to track someone or should I say something down."

"Oooooh FUN!!!!" Buttercup exclaimed, almost jumping out of her fur.

"Calm down Buttercup, this will require much skill and work. Are you both ready?" The Boss asked, ready to adjourn the meeting.

"Yes sir, er-ma'm, er-Boss" they bot replied.

"Good. Now please leave. I have business to attend to. I will send you the details tomorrow."

"Thanks so much Boss. We won't let you down!" Buttercup chirped leaving.

"Goodbye Boss" Zuzu said on her way out.

Once again in the center of the agency they went up to their tube.

"Ready to go home Buttercup?"

"Not really, I like this place."

"We will return soon, I can guarantee that." Zuzu muttered.

"Ok then, I'm ready to leave" Buttercup said, taking one last look at the agency.

The tube transported them back up to their humans house. Zuzu called in the decoys and came running back in. She laid down with Buttercup next to her, preparing herself for tomorrow.
