The Beginning

Zuzu was over it. She couldn't take much else. She sat down as Ripples bounded around her wanting to play. She just wanted a break. The life of a dog like her was not easy.

She looked a mess, the spot on her back was all wobbly and messed up and she was stressing so much she couldn't stop shedding. It wasn't fair. Ripples and Bub had it so easy. They could just sit around and look cute all day. She, she had to train Buttercup and keep the town in order. It wasn't easy. As sworn protector of the town she couldn't catch a break. At least training Buttercup could lead to more breaks.

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

The alarm went off again and again. Zuzu shut it up and went outside away from Livy, her owner. Under the porch, she could disappear and send in a decoy. The decoy and her were basically the same. However, if Livy looked close enough, she would see that the decoy had slightly different eyes than Zuzu.

Outside she went trotting along like it was any other day. She had to find Buttercup and fast. Buttercups decoy looked exactly alike, there was not any differences. In fact, Zuzu even got mixed up sometimes. Ripples came bounding over, something yellow hanging from his mouth.

Go away Zuzu thought. I need my privacy. Go bother Bub or something.

Ripples went off and Buttercup came over.

"Hey boss! Hows it going?"

"Fine. Now under." Zuzu replied signaling to the deck.

Hellooo Everybody!!! (Said in the voice of Gru from Despicable Me). This is the start of a new book. I know the beginning is short. If you have not read my other book All It Takes Is Faith, I recommend it, its short. Ok, so did anyone like the opening? If you did like and comment.
