At the end of the day, Izuku had grabbed his bag and stood up, silently giving a look behind he saw Naruto and Kirishima talking to one another, it seemed that Naruto found his own friend... he felt his heartache as he saw Naruto give him one look before going back to talking to the other... Turning he looked over towards Ochako who was waiting at the door for him.  "Ah Midoriya-san, are we waiting for Uzumaki-san?" He saw Tenya appear around the large door and he shook his head with a sad look, "Not today..." The tall teen gave him a curious look before he saw the gravity manipulator shake her head, nodding his head knowing not the pry. "Well let's be off then."

Izuku had stayed quiet walking out of the school, only speaking when he was asked a question by Iida or he gave a small laugh from something Ochako said, but once they reached the front of the school he heard a shout. "Deku!" Jumping at the sound he turned around and saw Katsuki jogging towards him, turning he saw Ochako give a curious look while Tenya was more so in a defensive position, in a very robotic way. "Y-Yes Kacchan?" Katsuki slowed his pace and stopped in front of the freckled boy. Katsuki shot a look towards the two who were waiting for the response gave them a glare. 

"A-Ah, Uraraka, Iida, it's okay... I'll catch up in a minute." Turning towards them with a reassuring look, he knew Katsuki wouldn't hurt him... he never laid a hand on him before, though he did get seared sometimes by getting a little too close... Ochako nodded her head but Tenya gave a second before following after the girl. Katsuki waited a moment until they were far enough away so they wouldn't hear him. "..." He stared at Izuku for a solid minute before he sighed. "I'm..." The words didn't come out of his mouth as he expected and Izuku frowned...

Usually, Katsuki was open as to what he needed to say... albeit angry and blunt but... this was the complete opposite of what he normally is like. "... I'm glad you didn't throw yourself off the building..." Izuku frowned at the memory... "Take a swan dive off the roof and pray for one in your next life..." He didn't know how he should feel about this... "Are you saying that because I have a quirk now?" The words of Naruto coming back in his head. "They are speaking to you now after you got a quirk... the nerve of some people." Katsuki looked down and shook his head. "I... taking the exams quirkless... that would have killed you Izuku... It would have basically been suicide... so..." He placed his hands in his pockets as he looked down, unable to look at him in the eyes.

"I didn't want you to be a hero because you would be in front of people who will try to kill you..." Katsuki looked up and stared at Izuku dead straight in the eye. "I didn't want you to get hurt..." Izuku gritted his teeth at the statement. "The hag told me I should protect you since we promised to be a hero duo and... that was the only way I imagined to try and stop you... you were really annoyingly determined." Izuku grabbed his bag strap and set it on the ground. "Then what about you!?" Katsuki felt his shoulders reflexively tense, hearing such a loud shout from the smaller teen who is usually silent.

"I was worried too! But I didn't tell you to..." looking up at the teen he had seen his shoulders shaking, tears flowing down his face. "Why does everyone I make friends with just turn into a giant misunderstanding..." He whispered as he pulled at his fingers, trying to calm himself. Katsuki walked forward one step. "What do you mean everyone? What happened to whiskers?" Izuku stared up at him with a frown. "He... He's angry... and I am too... why did you have to pick now to be the day to tell me this Kacchan..." Katsuki bit his lip and looked down. "I wanted to tell you that I was... happy that we kicked ass." Izuku's hands stopped, completely still as he looked back up at the blond.

"I... I was wrong... I was young and dumb... so, I'm... sorry..." Katsuki grumbled out making Izuku bite the inner bit of his cheek... he couldn't recount how many times he wished he could go back to normal with Katsuki Bakugo... but Naruto would... Izuku's eyes widened as he glared at the ground... "You're too forgiving Izu..." "I don't understand how you put up with his attitude."  Izuku felt time go by before Katsuki muttered, "Just know that I am..." As he was walking past him he gave in and Izuku turned and grabbed his hand. "I forgive you..."
