"Moses... Mosesssss, here kitty kitty" I bent down further under my back porch, sinking my jeans into the mud. I turned to see Mrs. Rose hovering over me.

"Mrs. Rose are you sure Moses is under here? I can't see him" I question her.

"Yes Robin I am adamant I saw him scurry under there, now hurry up!" she snaps. Jeez! I was just trying to be nice, this cat is definitely not under my porch, she just finds this funny. Mrs. Rose is my elderly neighbor who I am pretty convinced eats children for breakfast... or at least that's what my brother Reed told me.

"Hey Robin! Robin?" shit that's Harley, he hates our neighbor. ".. oh hey Mrs. Rose have you seen my sister" I could hear the reluctance in his voice from here, luckily the deck hid my smile. This was too amusing.

Harley is my second oldest brother or as I like to call him. Mama Bear. That man has more motherly instincts than a pregnant bull. There's been times I'm certain he has a sixth sense for when I'm hurt or sad. Weird.

Deciding now is probably a good time to make myself known "I'm here Harls" I call from beneath the deck. "Ow shit!" of course I had to bang my head crawling back out, my brothers are always reminding me how careless and clumsy I am. oops.

"Language Ro" he warns, yeah yeah whatever mama bear I'm 12 not 4.

Retreating out from under our wooden deck I stand straight up and try brush the mud off of my jeans. Keyword: Tried, it ended up all over my hands.

Harley watched me in disgust, always such a germaphobe "okay ew, go shower baby breakfast is almost ready". He then turns to address Mrs. Rose who has been silently watching us with her judgmental eyes.

"If you're looking for Moses I just saw him rummaging through the food waste out front" I hover my hand over my mouth trying to hold in my laugh after seeing the mischievous glint in Harley's eyes. Mrs. Rose's eyes widen and she scurries off to the front yard, only then do I let myself laugh which comes out more as a snort.

"Did you really have to scare her like that?" I ask between laughs.

"She shouldn't have you climbing under the deck at..." he checks his watch I gifted him last Christmas "7:00 am, you're too kind for your own good Ro" he shrugs.

"Yeah I know, you've told me a thousand times before but I can't help it as soon as someone makes a sad face I feel all guilty inside" I pout waving my arms animatedly.

He walks over to me, wraps right arm around my shoulder and kisses my temple before murmuring "I wouldn't have you any other way baby, now go shower you smell".

We climb up the deck stairs and into the glass doors that connect to the kitchen. Once smelling that Harley was cooking waffles, I dash upstairs to grab clothes from my room. Some black wide leg jeans, a white polo and a red baggy sweater to go on top. I carry them across the hall to the bathroom.

Our house isn't huge but it is manageable with six people living in it. A living room to the left of the front door with another door inside leading to the basement. A kitchen/ dining room to the right. Stairs opposite that lead up to an almost horseshoe shaped area with four bedrooms and a bathroom. Although my oldest brother Cisco has an en suite in his room, which helps somewhat. On the left of the staircase is my room, its reasonable sized only being able to fit a single bed, a desk and two cupboards. I have minimal floorspace, but the privacy makes up for it. Actually, I am going to retract that statement, I never have my privacy, River, Reed and Arlo love barging in my room whenever they feel like it.

Next to my room is the twins room, Reed and River. Opposite the stairs is Cisco's room, his is the master bedroom but it also works as his office. On the right of the staircase is Harley and Arlo's room, next to theirs is the bathroom.
