PART 2 OF "TEACH ME"

You were strolling the hallway, trying to find Kou. Ever since you found out he liked you-which you're now aware was supposed to be his "secret", Kou has been avoiding you like the plague. You, of course, loved messing with the boy so much that you go out of your way to look for him every time he disappears.

It also didn't help that he practically rejected your offer to date.

You figure he's with Hanako who resides in the third-floor bathroom, but you couldn't be bothered to go there as it'd take too much of your time and you don't exactly want to see Hanako. You decide you're just going to wait for him on the first floor of the old building.

You were looking down, playing with your exorcist keychain when you see radish legs near you. You look up and see a girl with mesmerizing magenta eyes and light cream hair. You know she's the one always around Kou so you hastily approach her. "Hi, have you seen Minamoto?"

Yashiro seemed shocked, so you thought maybe Kou doesn't talk about you, but it was actually quite the opposite. Kou talks too much about you, he describes you almost like a goddess that it shocked Yashiro to see you approaching her so casually.

"Uh? Yes, he'll be back shortly. He's just talking to a friend!" She answers and you quickly decipher who the "friend" is. Kou considers Hanako as a friend, after all. He keeps saying stuff about exorcising him all the time, but he even talked to his older brother whom he admires a lot because he didn't want Teru exorcising him.

"I see. Thank you-" You cut off, realizing you haven't asked her name.

"Yashiro Nene! And I know who you are, (L/N)-san," She smiles at you. "Got to go!"

Huh, she knows who you are. Maybe Kou talks about you after all.

Soon after, Kou was approaching the classroom and as soon as he saw you, he was about to turn back and hide in a corner but it was too late as you've already seen him. He debated on running away, but he didn't want to get scolded. He just quietly accepted his fate as you calmly approached him.

"Kou!" You cheerfully greet him. You wanted to hug him but figured that'd be too much for the younger. Also, you're sure he wouldn't like that. You didn't exactly have that kind of relationship with him before you realized he liked you, so that'd be too much for his comfort.

"H-hey, Senpai!" He forcefully grins which almost makes you laugh as you could see how much he was forcing himself to smile when in reality he felt nervous and wanted to get out of the situation.

"Kou, I asked you if you wanted to date, didn't I?" You whisper which intensified his blush.

"But Senpai-" You put your pointer finger on his lips to quiet him.

"No buts, Kou." You tell him, but he just removes your finger that stopped him from saying his excuse. You let him remove it, thinking that maybe he has a reasonable reason.

"I-it's my t-turn to ask you, Senpai! Do you-do you like me?!" Your eyes widen in shock. You didn't expect him to ask that question so casually. Well, he seemed nervous but you didn't think he had the balls to drop the L-word on you... But then again, that's what you did to him.

"Hm, what if I do?" You smirk at him in triumph and walked away to return to your classroom. He could only gape, speechless as you left him.

Bonus

Yashiro squeals as she shakes Kou who was still speechless on your sudden confession. Unbeknownst to you, she returned to where you were waiting for Kou using a different route. Curiosity got the best of her and so, she spied on Kou to see what you wanted to tell him. She didn't expect for a confession to happen, though.

After making sure that you left already, she came out from her hiding spot and found Kou in the same state you left him in. Poor boy, he was so startled he didn't even bother moving from the spot for minutes.

"Kou-kun, Kou-kun! Your ultimate crush confessed to you!" She screams and that's when Kou loses it. He covers his mouth and then faints, which causes Yashiro to panic and return to the third floor to call Hanako.
