Coffee Date

Amane likes (Y/N) who works at a coffee shop. . .except he doesn't like coffee.

"Here, have some coffee, Amane!" Tsukasa says as he pushes the cup of coffee over to Amane, who shakes his head in return. Tsukasa frowns and goes near Amane to sit on his lap.

"But why~ We're always going to that coffee shop!" Tsukasa whines. Amane tsk-ed and pushed him off his lap.

"Stop that, Tsukasa." Amane scolds Tsukasa to which his younger brother whines over again. The older only rolls his eyes at how the younger is acting.

"Hmm... Perhaps you like someone working there, huh?" Tsukasa teases while standing on the chair. He goes over to the table and sits on it instead. Finally sitting comfortably, he faces Amane who tensed and was now blushing furiously - probably because of his question.

"Aha!" The younger exclaims.

"Shut up and don't tease me."

"But, you're cute, Amane!"

Tsukasa touches Amane on the face, wanting to feel the warmth of his cheeks. The older slaps his hand away.

"Is it (Y/N)?" Tsukasa asks, wondering. One look at his brother's face was all it took for him to grin widely, finally knowing the person his brother likes.

"Shut up Tsukasa... I don't want them to know." Amane looks at Tsukasa with a scorn on his face to which the latter pouts at.

"Eh, you really don't want to tell them? I think they like you."

"R-really?"

Tsukasa grins widely. "Yes! What do you say about confessing to them?"

"O-okay, let's do it..."

"What do you mean us?! You're the only one confessing, Amane!"

"Yeah, but you're going with me, right?"

"Hehe, no."

"What? Why?"

"Alone time..."

"Fine."

Amane bites his lip as he opens the door to the coffee shop, immediately scrunching his nose as he is welcomed with the aroma of coffee. He really is not a coffee person. If not for the delicious donuts, he won't go here. Oh! And... the person working at the cashier.

He goes over to the cashier, his heart beating faster as he sees you, smiling at the customers as you take the unnecessary long orders. You grin wider when you see Amane approaching.

"Amane! How are you?" You greet, which causes Amane's cheeks to flush. The conversation was unnerving, well, for him at least.

"I-I'm okay... A donut please."

"Plain, right?" You ask, getting used to Amane ordering the same thing over and over again. He was becoming a regular already.

"Yes," Amane says and pays the exact amount immediately. You notice this and it somehow warms your heart, assuming that Amane doesn't want you to look for the change even though that's probably not the case.

You grab the donut from the display and hand it over to Amane who takes it hastily, which makes you chuckle. Amane notices and blushes, embarrassed that you noticed he was that hungry already.

"Don't worry, it's still hot." You said and winked to Amane who smiled a bit in return. He walked over to his usual table and sat, discreetly looking at you taking orders.

It must be Amane's lucky day, because finally you are taking a break and are heading over to his table, holding a donut and what he assumes is iced coffee.

"Hey! Can I sit with you?" You ask Amane with a smile. He only nods, unable to say anything. He keeps on thinking about confessing. Ah, now he's currently cursing Tsukasa in his mind because he's the one who mentioned it. Now, he can't stop thinking about you possibly liking him back.

"What's wrong?" You say, biting into the donut. You close your eyes in delight while chewing.

"Nothing... It's because of something Tsukasa said." Amane blurts out and he wonders if he should've not mentioned it.

"Oh!" You exclaim and put the donut down. "What is it?" You ask excitedly.

"Uh... He said... You might like me." Amane says, looking over to you, and you part your lips in shock. The boy suddenly regrets even talking about it.

"Now that you mentioned it, huh, I think I do." You say nonchalantly and Amane suddenly chokes on his donut, making you hand your drink over to him. He takes a sip and scrunches his nose in disgust, silently hoping he didn't offend you.

"Why, do you not like it?"

"I... I do not drink coffee." Amane confesses.

"Huh, I figured!"

"How?"

"Eh, you never order coffee, silly!" You say and giggle.

"(Y/N)..." Amane calls out.

"Yeah?"

"I really like you."

"O-oh." Cue the blushing faces of both Amane and (Y/N). Oh, young love.

"You said you think you like me, right?"

You nod at Amane's question.

"Is it possible for me to change that?"

Nod.

Amane grins at you.

"Okay, let's start!"
