It was a beautiful morning. A clear blue sky and some birds chirping in a happy tone.

On the sidewalk there were 2 young boys. 2 best friends. The green haired boy had a secret for the blonde boy, 'I love him'. He had this secret for a few years now. And he never told anyone.

As they walked to school the smaller boy started talking.

"tsukki?" the smaller said.
"what is it tadashi?" the long one answered.

The green haired boy took a deep breath and asked :"do you like someone?"

"eh-no why?" tsukishima said.
"oh just wanted to make sure" the smaller one said.

Tadashi wanted to know who he liked because he knows he likes someone

"tsukki?"tadashi said "what?" Kei answered "are you sure you don't like anyon?-"tsukishima cut him off with "urusai Yamaguchi." and he answered "ah gomen tsukki!".

When they arrived at school a blonde girl came up to them. Yachi hitoka. Tadashi looked at her and her cheeks went a bit pink.

"h-hey yams and tsukishima!" she yelled. "good morning yachi" tadashi answered with a smile.
"mornin'" kei said.

"ehm can w-we talk yams?" she asked. "oh yea sure!"

"I'll leave you 2 alone" tsukishima said with a small smile and then he walked away.

"ehm tadashi.. I want to tell you something.." the girl said. "oh you can ask me anything yachi!" "well.. Would you go out with me..? I love you so much!" "..i love you too as I will go out with you" little does yachi know that it's a lie. Yams didn't want to hurt her feelings so he said he'd go out with her I mean that's what friends are for right..?

The reason yams said yes is because he thought he'd get over tsukishima. Yes the tall boy with the glasses and the blonde hair. The one that rejected him all those years ago.

(so I know I said tsukishima liked him for many years and he does he truly does but he rejected him because he didn't want to ruin their friendship by not being good enough for yams I hope this helped!)

When they were playing a practice game yachi gave yams his water and a little kiss on his cheek. "you were doing good out there!" she said. "ah- thank you yachi" yams answered.

After school, yams and yachi were walking outside while holding hands and laughing about stupid things

"tadashi wanna come over?" tsukishima asked.
"ah no sorry I'm going to yachi's"
He answered. "oh okay then,see you tomorrow?" "see you tomorrow tsukki!"

The couple started walking to the girl's house. They studied a bit and watched a movie. Slowly but surely yams was falling for yachi. He started falling inlove with smile, he laugh, her hair, the way she talks, basically everything about her made yams stop loving tsukishima, oh that's what he thought.

Around 8pm he had to leave so he went home and went to bed after eating a little.he woke up at 7'15am. He putted his school uniform on and went to school.

On his way to school he was walking alone until Tsukishima went to him and said :"good morning tadashi" "hii tsukki!" he replied.

"where is yachi?" he asked the green haired boy. "oh i had to go home last night so she's probably at school now" "are you gonna come with me today?" "oh no sorry tsukki me and yachi are going on a date!" "oh.. Have fun then" "I will!"

The blonde boy ruffled in the shorter's one hair and smiles a bit. "e-eh-" tadashi said. "oh sorry" kei said while pulling his hand away. "it's okay".

For the rest of the walk they remained silent. When they arrived yams runned to yachi and kissed her, leaving tsukishima all alone. Yams smiles and waved tsuki goodbye while walking to his class with yachi.

after class they went to the cafetaria and bought some food. The couple sat down at the table where kei and tadashu always sit and where kei already was.they sat down while saying hello to kei.

"so you 2 are a thing right?" the Blonde boy asked. "mhm" yachi and yams said while noding "congratulations guys" he said with a slight smile.

"excuse me I need to use the bathroom" kei said while getting up and grabbing his stuff. "is it just me or was he acting a little strange?" Tadashi asked yachi. "not really?" "I guess it's just me"

3th person pov

A few weeks has passed since the day that yachi and yams were official. Yams noticed how tsukki didn't pay attention to his classes anymore, he didn't come to practice anymore. Tsukishima stopped talking to him because he was always with yachi.

Yamaguchi was going to tsukki's place to surprise him. He rang the bell and waited till his best friend opend the door.

"yams?" he said. "ah hi tsukki I'm here to check up on you" the green haired boy said. "well I'm fine, you should go to yachi" "tsukki are you sure you're okay? You don't look fine" "yams I'm fine." kei said in a annoyed voice.

Yams went inside and looked around. "tsukki what's this?" he said while grabbing a t-shirt that he got from yams, full with tear stains. "it's a shirt, what else would it be?" the taller one said.

Tsukishima walked up to yams and grabbed the shirt. "look yams, I wasn't gonna tell you this.." the taller one began "yams I'm in love with you.." the blonde one said with tears in his eyes.

"oh"

tsukishima looked yams straight in the eyes. "l-look tsukki I can't be with you.. I want yachi to be happy.." yams said while looking down. Tsukishima sighs. "tadashi you should go.." no reply.

The silence in the room was killing them both until yams started walking to the door. "I'll see you.. Later tsukishima" yams left tsukishima alone and went home.

After he went home he stared thinking about it all, noticing how hurt he was. His childhood cruch confessed,after rejecting him a m few years ago. "What's happening" he said to himself. After he got home he called yachi and told her everything that happened. "why didn't you tell him how you feel?" yachi said in a sad tone. "I love you yachi.. And I don't wanna hurt you"

Tsukishima's pov

I rang the bell and a small blonde girl opened the door. "ah hi tsukishima come in!" she said to me with a smile. "thanks" I said while walking inside. "so why are you here tsukishima?" yachi asked me while closing the door. I slowly took her hands and looked at her.

"please.. Take care of him.. Love him.. Treat him well.. Make him happy for me.. Please yachi.. I beg you.." I looked at her with tears in my eyes and saw her completely shocked. "I-I will do that tsukki" she said. I let go of her hands and said my goodbye.

I left the house and went home.

A few years later I got a letter in my mailbox.

Dear tsukishima kei, me, tadashi Yamaguchi, and my fiance, yachi hitoka, invire you on our wedding. Please come, it's at ########### .

Dearest tadashi Yamaguchi and soon to be yachi Yamaguchi.

"still together..?" I asked myself while letting out a sad chuckle.
I took my phone and texted yams

Yamaguchi tadashi.

"hey tadashi"

"hi tsukki!"

"I'm letting you know that I'm not gonna come to the wedding"

"oh why not?"

"I'm not able to get there"

"oh that's sad"

"yea sorry"

"don't worry it's okay!"

"thanks yams, you're really my best friend"

"anytime"

"I hope she doesn't break the promise..
