When I saw that betraying arse, my revenge plan was coming back to me in one sense. 'all i need is some rope, fireworks, and an applecore' I thought to myself.Then I remembered where I was at. Stuck under a foul smelling dingy mattress, waiting for a crumbling earthquake to finish. Even though I wanted to claw her eyes out, I darted out from under the mattress, and first took a breath of fresh but ash filled air, then ran towards the tasmanian devil. When I got there I yelled out her name to get her attention. "Rebecca!" I yelled as loud as I could, but she didn't here me. "Yuri what are you doing, get back here!" yelled a terrified Kalan. I turned around to him to let know I heard him, then I went off back in the direction I was heading. "Rebecca Poults!!!" Gosh that was a deaf woman.At that point, I was forced to do something I said I would never do in my life again. "Recky Becky loves her speckies, she could never live without them!!!!!!" That definitely got her attention. Before she could turn around I could see the look on her face. Relief, with a pinch of guilt and depressing circles around her eyes. Yea...... thats just how much I know about her. "Yuri... Yuri is that you?" she turned around dramatically as if I were the police telling her to freeze.Then she placed her phony' i will never love you again Yuri' act down and ran towards me with a gigantic hug. Before she could get to me, I placed my hands in front of me to stop her. I wasn't in a mood for hugging a betraying friend. "What are you doing in Bei-" she started it, but I finished it. When I spoke, I spoke with indignation. I had to slap the snot out of her primpy nose. And thats exactly what I did. I gave her one good slap right on her already rosey cheeks. Her expression went from bewildered to 'oh, I know what that was for',. "No time to sit and chit chat," I begin while dodging falling debris," we need to get under shelter now! Do you here me betrayer...NOW!" She finally got my gist and I pointed out to her where I was going for protection. A blushing Kalan looked behind me to see a surpirsed Rebecca Poults. Kalan had a crush on Rebecca after I showed him a full body picture of her and told the story of what happened between us. He would walk around the apartment yelling" I love Becka, she is my life" He didn't even know the girl, and he thought that was his soul mate. But did you remember me saying Tajik had a crush on him? Yea... try and figure that situation out. We all huddled under the awful mattress and tried our hardest to hold onto our lives. After a couple more minutes of crumbling, it finally stopped. I dramatically checked my skin and clothing to make sure I was still here. "Thank you lord oh my god!" Rebecca and Kalan turn to face me in a surprising look as if I was crazy. "What?" I exclaimed" a girl can't praise the lord almighty for sparing her life?" There expressions softened and then everyone came back to life. Now from under the mattress, we took a look around the city of China. Nothing was put together. All rubble, nothing left to go to, to cherish for the rest of your life, except for the memory of ash falling in a now dead city. Kalan looked choked, like his life was taken away in a breath. While I moved from place to place, this was where he stayed... this was his home.I glanced a look at Rebecca. I could see the sympathy on her rosey bruised cheeks, and in her pool green eyes. I tried not to laugh, it was never really a home to me, just a place I had to live because I just tagged along with my mom. "Yuri! Kalan! Where are you?" I've heard that voice before. It was a soft delicate voice with a determined tone at the end. "Tajik! Tajik is that you!" Out of the dust she came like an ash angel. She had tear streaks down her plump face. She ran torwards me with a wild hug. Ipretented my breath was being taken away to make her let go of me. "Oh Yuri, I thought you were desad somewhere under a pile of rubble... godh you scared me to death!" Her tone was really relieving but at the same time frightened as if she was panicking. When Tajik got a glimpse of Rebecca, she unwrapped her hands around me and stood right in front of her. I could feel the tension between them for uncertain reasons(because they didnt know each other did they?) so I stepped in the middle between them. "Uh...... Rebecca this is Tajik my best friend in the whole wide world," I emphasized the word best friend to prove to her she was no longer my best friend anymore. She caught the gist and coughed in agony. "And......Tajik this is my old best friend Rebecca" I thought the tension was over but then Rebecca spoke and I couldn't believe my ears. "Samantha, I never I'd see you hear either,...what a nice surprise. Samantha? What was she talking about? "I see you guys have already've met," I started. "Oh yeah," Tajik began still staring into Rebecca eyes,"we've already met" Rebecca stuck her nose against Tajik's. "So Tajik, how have you been since I saw you at the wedding party? Wedding Party?!" I've been great Rebecca," s.Tajik spoke while spitting on Rebecca's feet and walking away not waiting for the next comment. Before she finally left, she turned around and rushed to Kalan. She stood right in front of his face and said, "I'm sorry you have to see this....." Then she punched Rebecca straight in the nose! Like a shedevil ! She walked away and yelled at her violently. "That's what you get for bringing up the past..."
