The Class Picture|Chapter 4

It was our class picture day. Jack and Auggie made up, how? I'm not quite sure but they are friends again. Anyway we all got ready for the picture. I sat next to Julian. The picture was quick. All the girls except for me were either dressed formal or in a dress. Me on the other hand was dressed in my normal outfit. Ok

The picture people took our picture and then left for the next class. After the picture I found Auggie and Jack Will. "Hey guys!" I said. "Hey y/n" they both said in unison blush filling their cheeks. I don't know why though.

——The Next Day——

I was called into the office for a reason I don't know. They had me wait in the main office when I saw Auggie  sit down next to me. "Hey what's going on?" I asked. "Julian edited me out the school picture and wrote 'Do us a favor and die." Auggie told me. "What?!" I was so shocked.

I could here the Albans in Tushman's office. After a few minutes the Albans came out. Julian followed after a couple more minutes. Julian's mom just looked at me talking to Auggie and turned away in disgust. Auggie was pulled in Tushman's office and I walked over to Julian.

"Did you actually do that Julian.?" I asked with a frown. "I'm really sorry Y/n." He said, I know he meant it. I hugged him and kissed his cheek. "I-uhm I.." Julian said not actually knowing what to say as his cheeks heated up.

"Julian?" I asked confused. "Oh uhm yeah?" He asked. "I think you and Auggie would be great friends if you just got to know him." I told him, it was the truth. "You really think so?" He asked. "Yeah I do." I told him. "Well I'll think about it." He said.

I kissed his cheek again as the Pullmans came in to pick me and Auggie up. As I walked over to the Pullman's Auggie walked out. Julian was rubbing his cheek where I kissed it and smiling. I smiled at him as me, Auggie, and the Pullman's walked out the office.

——Weeks Later——

A lot has happened. We went on a nature reserve a week ago unfortunately Julian couldn't go because of his punishment. Somehow Julian and Auggie were friends now. I was happy.

The end of the year is coming up. But if I'm being honest I have to admit I'm getting jealous of Auggie. Everyone has been treating him like a prince and Julian hasn't hanged out with me since well I don't know. He's always with Auggie,his friends, Jack Will, and Summer Dawson.

I walked into the cafeteria. Julian was sitting with Auggie,Jack Will, and Summer. I sat next to them. "Hey guys, what are you talking about?" I asked. "Nothing much." Auggie said. They all went back to talking forgetting I was there.

I picked up my lunch box and walked away. Julian looked at me. Giving me the 'are you ok?' Look.

——the last day of school——

It was the last day of 5th grade. To be honest I was really excited to finish the year off. I sat next to Julian. I looked down. Although I was excited I hated that none of my friends haven't been hanging out with me. "You ok?" Julian asked me. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine." I told him, it was a lie.

"If you say so." He said. "I'm going to go sit by Summer." Julian continued. I sighed. Alone again. Why am I always second choice?

And just like that summer break started.
