Frankie McKay let out an annoyed huff as she studied the mess that was her brother infront of her. Lewis McKay had a habit for biting off more than he could chew and this was once again proven tonight when he decided to start a fight with a man three times his size. "Lewis why can't you just go one night without a fight?" Her brother just gave her a bloody grin before taking the shot that she had so kindly provided for him. "You know me fran, can't resist a little trouble" the boy replied, signaling for another drink as he lifted the shot glass in her direction.Scoffing, the girl snatched it from his hand and began to refill it "there's a difference between getting in a fight and looking for one and you, brother dearest are a dumbass for doing the latter. But seriously, why can't you pick someone your size instead of someone who could pass for Arnold goddamn Schwarzenegger's twin?" She questioned sarcastically, shrugging Lewis played with the rings on his fingers and tried his best to avoid the stare of his sister who was glaring holes into the side of his head.
The tension was quickly dissolved and Frankie was brought out of her annoyed state by the sound of laughter that was coming from the entrance of the bar. Five guys stumbled in and made their way over to a booth in the far corner, the tallest of the Group remained on his feet as the rest sat down and began talking to him. A few minutes later and he was making his way towards the bar and Frankie couldn't take her eyes off of him. His long blonde hair was teased and he wore an old sabbath t-shirt with a leather jacket and he had his sunglasses pushed up into his hair making him look ten times hotter.
Snapping herself out of her daze she gave the man a smile "what can I get you?" She questioned, having to crane her neck up to look at him. He smirked and then requested 3 bottles of jack daniels,2 bottles of vodka and a beer. Frankie got to work collecting the bottles and placing them on a tray, she picked said tray up and rounded the bar before walking over to the table full of men, placing the bottles down along with the glasses in case they were required. "Thanks darlin" the redhead of the group said as he grabbed a bottle of jack and began filling his glass. Frankie smiled in return and her eyes scanned the rest of them "is there anything else-" before she could finish everyone's attention was turned to the loud crash over by the bar.
"Oh fuck me" Frankie breathed, seeing Lewis rolling around on the floor,a guy with a bloody nose towering over him. Frankie quickly went over to intervene, unaware of all the people staring "Jesus fucking Christ Lewis, what the fuck is wrong with you?" She seethed as she pulled her brother up off of the floor before sitting him down on a stool and turning to look at the other guy "listen I'm sorry about him,he's had too much to drink" Frankie said, glaring at Lewis when she spoke. "Little man needs to learn to keep his mouth shut" the man said "little man? I'll show-" Lewis was cut off when his sister slapped her hand over his mouth and shoved him back down onto the stool. "Yeah I know,uh its a work in progress" the girl assured "hey, listen the next three rounds on the house if you leave him alone" she promised the man,an almost pleading smile gracing her face. The man nodded and gave her a smile "I'll have a jack and coke" he spoke and Frankie nodded, returning to her spot behind the bar to get the man his drink.
"I'll have a-" "you're not getting shit"Frankie told her brother. Handing the man his drink she turned to Lewis and pointed a finger at him "I'm going for a smoke, try not to get yourself killed" she told him before she left through the back door for a smoke, snagging a bottle of tequila to go with it. She leant up against the wall and lit herself a cigarette, sighing she rubbed a hand down her face, moving her head to the side when she heard footsteps coming closer. She was met with the face of the tall blonde from before and gave him a small smile, him returning it as he lit his own smoke, moving to stand beside her.
"You uh,handled that really well back there" he told her, mentally scolding himself as he stood there awkwardly scratching his neck "oh I'm used to it" she replied, watching him as he swapped what foot he leant on every ten seconds, smiling to herself she looked down and took another drag from her smoke. "We'll yeah I guess you are if you work in the whiskey" he said "well yeah but the idiot in there is my brother, and he thinks he's fucking Rocky so I deal with shit like that about three times a day." She explained, laughing quietly when the man gaped at her. "Jesus he sounds like a handful" he said "yeah, and believe it or not he's supposed to be the big brother but I'm here looking after a goddamn child" Frankie told him with a laugh, smiling slightly when he joined in.
"I'm uh, Michael, well duff,my names Michael but everyone calls me duff, fuck me" the man now known as duff mumbled the last part to himself and smiled when he heard the short girl infront of him laugh slightly "it's nice to meet you michael,I'm Frankie" she introduced, holding her hound out to shake which duff gladly took. The two finished their cigarettes and walked back into the bar, duff heading back to his friends and Frankie to her brother.
Three updates in one day? I think I need to go to the doctor or something 💀
