Night had finally come around and graced the town, coming into full effect with the sparkling stars in the sky, the mist dancing through the ambigous atmosphere and the only sound heard being in the streets were the hooting owls.

Had Alice celebrated her birthday the traditional way she's used to, this chilling yet calming night atmosphere that she embraced and soaked in as she sat down on the plush crushed velvet ottoman placed by Hermione's window as she danced a cigarette in between her fingers, would be the scenery or sight she'd be witnessing right now. She'd be faced with flashing blue lights daring to interrupt her fun, a plethora of red plastic cups slung around and outside of her trailer and aggressive and rowdy drunk teens smashing up bottles and enganging in lewd behaviour. Given all of that, it was no question on why she wanted something different this year, and a laidback sleepover with her best friends seemed like the ideal option.

"Who's got the vodka?!" Hermione called out, skillfully preparing fresh cocktails from behind her mini bedroom bar. Not an ideal furnish fixing for a seventeen year old, but when you have money like the Gomez family do, who really cares.

"You're not adding the entire bottle, are you?" Sierra skeptically questioned, wandering across the room in her nightwear with the clear bottle of the alcoholic substance in hand. "I still end up to sheets to the wind from a few shots." She shamefully reminds them. It was no secret that her alcohol intake handling level was considerably low compared to the others her age.

"We shouldn't have to suffer just because you're a lightweight." Alice sassily adds before finally lighting her cigarette.

"If you're gonna do that, can you at least open a window?" Mary pleaded rudely, sending the troublesome blonde a narrowing glare.

Alice rudely and unapologetically released a string of smoke from her lips towards Mary's face, which only pissed off the red head even further, but she eventually let it go.

"It's my birthday, I'll smoke indoors if I want to." Alice remarked snidely before giving her friend a smug smirk.

"Can you open the window at least? Please!" Hermione scolded, the fury in her tone forcing Alice to reluctantly give in and allow to the breeze from the cold night air to mask the smoke smell indoors while wafting it out.

"Enough arguing!" Sierra finally spoke out playfully. "Are we drinking or not?"

With Sierra's fair prompt, they found themselves gathering together onto Hermione Kingsized bed, making themselves comfortable as they vegged out on snacks provided including the masses of pizza that had been pre-ordered, illegally drank to their hearts content, and gossiped like there was no tomorrow. It's what sleepovers were made for, right?

"Whatever's said tonight, stays within these walls." Hermione jokingly warned before throwing back the last of her cocktail. "Okay, who's up first?"

Secrets and sins; a deadly version of truth or dare, just more sinister. It forced all players to confront their deepest fears and reveal their darkest secrets to everybody present in playing, and it always ended in tears or emotional fallouts. All four girls were an open book when it came to one another, they'd been friends since elementary school and knew everything there was to know about each other, but little did they know, this game would certainly put their friendship to the test.

Upon hearing Hermione's imploring, Alice, Sierra and Mary fell quiet, their innocent eyes darting back and forth from one another as they all displayed classic behavioural ticks of anxiety. Alice with her infamous lip bite, Sierra with her twitchy fingers and Mary with her bouncing knee.

"Well, since it's my birthday-" Alice began, whipping her out of her face as her notorious look of mischief danced over her features. "I guess I'll elect the candidate. Hermione?"
