Alison glanced up at me as I walked around the counter to take a position next to Emma at a nearby register. Andrew sniffed in contempt.

"Alison, it seems that our dear friend Sarah decided to switch up her work station. Would you mind taking her position in Young Adults?" Andrew eyed me disdainfully. I just ignored him. He always tended to be like this.

"Yeah, no problem." Alison gave me knowing smile. I shrugged as she disappeared around the rows of shelves. Andrew glowered at me for a few seconds more, than clasped his hands behind his back and walked away.

"So, I heard you got lucky at the concert and scored Louis' number." Emma whispered, after making sure Andrew was out of earshot.

"Lucky is a strong word." I replied, resting my elbows on the counter.

        "Not the point."

I sighed. How many times was I going to explain this before this day was over? It was really getting annoying and repetitive by now.

        "Yes. Yes I did. Happy?"

"Very. Actually, I didn't believe Kaitlyn and Alison, but now hearing it from you...." she trailed off. "That's crazy."

"My thoughts exactly." I agreed amiably. Emma was more serious, and I often enjoyed the conversations I had with her more than Kaitlyn and Alison.  She was twenty-two, but we shared many of the same interests. I don't know why I never actually hung out with her before. Again, the social anxiety.

"In fact, I may or may not have texted him and he may or may not be driving over here right now." I said, smiling slyly.

"No. You did not." Emma gasped in disbelief. I crossed my arms pompously.

        "I did."

"Who are you and what have you done with Sarah?" she joked. I looked down, starting to feel embarrassed.

"Um, excuse me?" A pinched voice made me look up. A petite, silver haired lady in a black jumpsuit and heels was standing before me, sliding a large hardcover book towards me.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I scanned the book, and was tallying the total on the computer when I heard a breathtakingly familiar voice break the calming stillness of the store.

"Hey! Do you know where I can find a Sarah?" I glanced towards the entrance to make sure I wasn't hearing things.

And there, in all his glory, was Louis Tomlinson dressed in a red and white striped shirt and suspenders, talking to a very confused looking Andrew.

"Oh my god....he's in the suspenders! The suspenders!" Emma whisper-shouted. I raised my eyebrows, the customer now staring in awe.

"So? Maybe he really likes suspenders." I bagged the book and handed it over to the lady. She narrowed her eyes and stalked away, her heels clicking against the fake hardwood floor.

"No, the suspenders..they're like his thing..." Emma breathed. I nodded slowly.

"You'll find your 'Sarah' over at the cash registers." Andrew pointed right at me. Louis looked over, breaking into a huge grin.

"Hey!" He waved crazily. I bit my bottom lip, as a couple of old people were beginning to get up to see what was happening.

I waved, giving him a small smile. He walked over, leaving Andrew even more confused than before.
