TRUST

~The Other Half~

Dedicated to jiya070, who has gave me a good and grand idea about a plot twist. I had a small idea of bringing up, but she developed it in a beautiful and best way! I will be putting up my words, where the person gave me the idea!

Two days later:

Shivaay and Annika came back from the trip and were unpacking their suitcases. They both understood a much more different side of each other from the trip. Shivaay saw a cute and childish Annika and Annika saw a jovial Shivaay. Every time she saw Shivaay, before the trip, he was romantic, serious, angry, etc., but not this! He has been very cheerful and talking to her as if he got some senses after a long time. He seems like he got a different aatma inside him! Annika knew it was because of the early responsibilities he had to take, he turned into an introvert. Meanwhile, Shivaay understood one thing from this trip, the childishness Annika showed was because of the bad old days she had to go through. Her eagerness when she saw cotton candy, chocolates, corn and many other things, made him understand that she has gone through a lot, that she didn't have a proper childhood. Somewhere, this trip has made him accept Annika as his family, completely. They knew they couldn't change what happened in each other's past, but they could change their future.

This trip changed not only their lives, but mainly the perspectives they had for each other. Anyways, the trip was over and they are back home. Shivaay was taking out some documents which were on Annika's side. He wanted to check for her contracts and what experience she had before. He wanted to bring her back to the old Annika. The Annika, who stands for herself, and not this Annika, who stays at home and forgets her dream. He wants her to fulfil her dream.

Annika, who came after freshening herself, saw Shivaay checking around her documents. She was surprised all of a sudden, regarding his indulgence in these activities.

Annika: "Billuji, what are you checking around for?"

Shivaay: "I was checking these files simply. You know I heard that Mrs Patel is arranging her daughter's wedding and is looking for a wedding planner. That's when I remembered about you and checked whether you are there for anything else. In case, you are free, means, I can ask you. That's why. Nothing else."

Annika: "Shivaay, see, right now, I am happy at home. I feel much better. I don't think so I need to do it. I feel like our family needs it."

Shivaay was surprised. He knocks on her head and puts his hand on her forehead.

Annika: "What happened?"

Shivaay: "Annika, I know there had been problems here and many other issues... I know very well that you want to start your own event management company...and why are you saying this now?"

Annika: "Shivaay, I think so I need time for this. Somewhere, I am not prepared for it. That's it."

Somewhere Annika was saying the truth, but the real reason is not that. It's that she feels like she lost her touch and the gap has caused her to stay lazy, but it's not that Shivaay doesn't know the reason. He understood it by the way she said.

Shivaay: "Annika, I am going to tell them that you are going to take care of it and I am going to be with you. It's going to start within 1 month and by then, you will be ready or I will make you ready."

Annika: (thoughts) "It's off, no use talking to this Bhagad billa... He never listens...I don't want to do the work... I will check for some other things that interest me... I just don't feel like doing it... Why doesn't he understand that?"

They then go to have breakfast and after which, Shivaay was doing some of his leftover work at home as it was a Sunday.

Suddenly, Dadi knocks at the door and gets in.
